There is a guy local to me that has about a half a dozen old Fords stuffed up into the upper cross beams and rafters in his barn.  I guess when we are driving around looking for old cars in barns we have to look up too.

sad???? no way that is horrendous..he should be in jail for treating the cars that way..Can we call MPS??? (Mopar Protective Services)  His Mopars should be taken away pending further investigation that he isn't abusing them or any other car for that matter.  I will gladly adopt all his mopars.  LOL

It sure looks like he ruined the fenders where the chains come out of the wheel openings.
Reminds me of the kid that we witnessed towing a b-body to the nats a few years ago. He had the car on a brand new trailer with the straps going over the top of the hood and quarters. I tried to find it at the show to see just how bad he screwed up the fenders and quarters, but couldn't find it. Maybe when he got there, he realized how bad he screwed up and went home to cry.
We always wondered if it was his dad's car.

That, and the rafters probably wouldn't hold the tractors.
I'm surprised they held the cars, come to think of it.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Man, that's just so wrong.  I hope somebody can talk him out of those cars before they fall from the rafters, or the roof collapses or something.  What's the one next to the Charger R/T, in the back corner with no fenders on it?  Why hang on to them if you're going to treat them like that - sell them to someone who's going to restore them.  If that roof leaks, they're going to keep rusting, and eventually they're going to break in half.

If those hanging cars are in a prone to heavily fllood area.It might explain to me why there up there like that.Either way its a sad sight.Hi silver 68 RT .I ran accross this searching chargers on webshots.Your car turned out.Mr Williams the original owner would be prood of your efforts

That's not mine, but thanks for the link.  That's the exact color scheme mine came with, from the evidence I see on the car, but mine was a 4-speed.  It was partially converted (badly, with much hacking) to an automatic, but I'm putting it back to a 4-speed.  I've got a lot of the 4-speed pieces already, the 18-spline trans, bellhousing, shifter, linkage, Z-bar, etc.  Haven't got a clutch or flywheel yet.  The pedals and clutch rod and bracket were still there.  Brewer's is rebuilding the trans right now.  I've been wavering on going back to silver, thinking maybe black or that cool maroon color, but that car in that gallery looked really good in silver.  I also saw a couple of really nice silver Chargers at Autorama today, including a '69 Hemi Charger 500.
