My daughter posts under my name sometimes. She is 16 and owns 2 Dodges. A 93 Daytona and a 78 Dodge Aspen Super Coupe.

That's cool, I always wanted a Super Coupe! Also loved the "kit Car" version!
It was her God-father's 1st car .He passed away 2 years ago and left it to her. He always said she was the only one that loved "The Coupe" as much as he did. Shelby calls it "The Beast"

At least she already has good taste in beer(ie the beast) :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

If were going to show our daughters in their Prom dresses, here's Lauren, my 15 year old, in hers.Lauren did not like that one here is another.

Well,it's not prom and she is with my Challenger and on a Harley. And I thought they were both beautiful pictures. When I take the camera down to the Body Shop I'll post pics of here sanding her own car. I feel she needs to work on it herself to understand the value of it.

I'm afraid my two girls have absolutely no interest in cars whatsoever.  They're still pretty young though so I'm not going to force it on them.  If they take an interest, they'll come around and if not, that's great too.

I never forced it on her. She has loved going to car shows since she was very young. She hated the races up until a couple years ago. And she wants to help work on the car.She asked if she could. The owner of the Body Shop( a good friend of ours tried to talk her out of getting dirty) But she wants to. I feel it will be be good for her, teach her you have to work hard to have something nice. She has her own mind that's for sure. Her dream car is a 57 Chrysler Imperial, she loves em. And the Dodge Custom Royal, go figure she has been raised around muscle cars. I did inventory in an old salvage yard for someone. She use to go with me all the time . She loved looking at the old cars , climbing over them, in the mud until she got a tick.LOL I could leave the house to got to the grocery and she won't want to go. If I say I'm going to get the Challenger , she's right with me. That's my girl. Here she is at Carlisle pulling the ticket to give away a Shelby.

My five year old is the same way..when I worked for a car restoration/limo builder she was always wanting to come with me.  And she loves to be out in the garage with hubby, my eight year old has her days whe she will be out there and others where she is like, "ewww, I am a girl."  LOL  They both Love the car shows as long as we can look at the cars...they hate the swap meet parts....

I was always involved with cars. Me and my dad took his friends 71 Camaro Z28 RS to a Camaro Meet in Vancouver and won 1st Place (my dad restored this Camaro) and then I remember restoring the same guy's yellow 1970 Buick GSX when I was little. Me and my dad put our names on the back of the door panel.

Heres some pics I dug up. The first is the GSX in the driveway a day after we finished it. And the Camaro at a car show (we went to three shows, this was the first one and the last show is where we won 1st place) and the last picture is the interior of my Charger (back in 1998) after we took the seats out.
