Heres the email I just got!

Cody,

This is Kevin Shaw, Associate Editor to Mopar Muscle. You've been selected for July's Young Gun's Club, but we need you to go online and fill out the Registration Form found in the Young Gun's section. When you fill it out, send it to me so that I can write the article. I'm hoping you get this either today or really soon because we need to get this article going. By the way, if you have any more digital photos, please send them along with the form. Thanks.

So the rules say you have to be 16, but you entered anyway at age 14.......

That's the whole patience thing we've been talking about!

Congratulations anyways...

You have to be atleast 16 to be in the Young Guns. I submitted my car into the Pentastars section and I guess thats where they got me email. I never planned on entering my car into the Young Guns until I was 16 because thats the rules, thats why I got a big shock when I read this email.

That's great. I'm getting tired of reading about 10,000 original mile hemi-whatevers, big dollar over-restorations and the like. Mopar Muscle is on the right track by promoting young guys like you. More young people will see they can have fun and own a nice car, even if the don't have the big bucks to own a car that is usually displayed in Mopar Muscle magazine.

Me too!

Ghoste

They were complaining in an editorial recently that people were sending submissions to Rare Finds that were cars that didn't belong to the submissor (is that a word?) so maybe they are having issues with Young Guns submissions as well?
In any case, it's all good.

69bronzeT5

Well, I cant be in the young guns club because Im not 16. They wouldnt make an acception. But Im still in the running for PentaSTARS and maybe the rare finds section.

And yet they publish an editorial crying about the fact that no one submits these finds.  They didn't seem to have a problem including the editor's daughter in rare finds after she "found" her uncle's old Charger did they?

69bronzeT5

Ya, see the 69 we have was an ACTUAL FIND where that girl probally knew that her uncle had it there.

Heres what he said to me "dude, there's like 1,000 cars
who want in to PentaSTARS and they're, frankly, done." And Ive seen in-resto Mopars in PentaSTARS before. And as soon as I mentioned my car was T5 he started to try and sell me one gallon of T5 paint. I found that kinda funny ;D
