All,
I am ready to drop in my clutch-type suregrip 3rd member and was wondering what to clean it with.  It has been sitting around for some time now, and is coated with every type of debris imaginable.  I want to make sure what ever solvent I use to clean it up will not effect the clutches, seals......

Any thoughts on what to use? Thanks for your help!

I use brake cleaner for most everything, it evaporates very fast and doesn't leave a residue. It shouldn't have any adverse effect on a suregrip, but then I have been known to be wrong once before.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Brake cleaner is what I was planning on using.  I appreciate the response.  Sometimes I just need a little reassurance!
