Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I wish that was Milwaukee. That would mean it is warm out and we have no 20+ inches of snow on the ground ;)

If you notice the green tree that would eliminate anything north this time of year. It is not a pine tree so no need to go there.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I was with my customer tonight and they took me to the Houston Rodeo.

In Canada we have the Calgary Stampede and from what I am told, this is the biggest rodeo in the United States.

We saw the bareback riders, saddle broncos, barrel races, calf rope, bull riders, chuck wagon races and the calf scramble, which was hilarious.  Picture 26 teenagers and 26 calves, let loose in the arena.  The object is for each youngster to round up one calf.  Only a handful of them got one but it sure was fun to watch.

The food was good.  The turkey legs are like something from the Flintstones.  You think the skin from the Thanksgiving turkey tastes good when it's cooked in the oven (I always pick away at it while carving and I'm sure you do to), well these beauties are slow cooked all day over mesquite and are simply awesome.

Here are some photos for y'all!  Thanks for the response -
