Ok so Ive been finding myself bored lately. Its always raining, the Charger is buried in my dad's stuff and I cant updated my site because lack of pictures. So Ive been thinking about starting some sort of registry for fun. Of course, deffintley not as techinical as Chris'. Im thinking like a Crosstown Motors registry (cars sold new at Crosstown Motors in Alberta) or like a June built Mopar registry. Like, if u wanna submit your car into my registry, you dont have to submit your full name (just first), no address, no vin #, no fender tag #s. Basically, just your first name, year..make & model of your car, some of the options and pictures? What do u guys think??

You may very well be bored, but I fail to see the point of a registry for June-built cars.  And I doubt others will either.

Back N Black

Maybe you should get a paper route and earn some extra cash start working on the charger.
Go out to the garage rip off a strip of chrome and start buffing cost you nothing and your one step closer.

Old Moparz

What if you unbury the Charger & pile all your dad's stuff on his bed to work on the car? It might get his attention & he will want to help you get it on the road.  :D

Or maybe not.  :shruggy:

Personally, I think that anyone who wants to participate in a registry, wants it to be more detailed with a VIN & such. Anything else wouldn't give them a reason to add to it.   :Twocents:

I agree. Most on here are posting pics and info on there cars as it is.  I wish I was bored........I get 4-6 hours of sleep as it is and never seem to catch up on all the things to do. Sell some things on eBay that will take up your spare time and fund the Charger.  Garage sales are just around the corner.

The garage is full and theres furniture behind it and infront of it. Theres not much left to do anyways. Only stuff the bodyman can do. All the chrome is shined. The engine capartment is all put together and basically every thing is done except for the left lower quarter and the stuff underneath.

Nope, 383 and 727 torqueflite out of a 68 Newport. My dad drove it for like 6 months. Parked it, took the engine and tranny out and put it in the Charger. And its funny..this newport was a 4door and it was green with green interior. it was a freaking tank and my dad was racing 5.0 mustangs and he beat them flat out. ;D

But seriously, you want something to do? Revamp your site. Instead of having page 1,2,3,4,5,100...etc, divide them up into body styles. Also lose the blue fonts. Nobody can see them.  :Twocents:

Hey, that is great you have all that done on the car.    I agree with some here, ya, a paper route, on a bike, good for you, buy one of those sheds or build one on side of house with the money you make, and put your dad's stuff out there.   Otherwise, sitting around with a sweet charger in the garage with nothing to do?   rough.
And its raining out?  I wouldn't know anything about rain living here.   :icon_smile_cool:     Good luck with the registry.

Ya, I was actually thinking about changing that blue font. And dividing it up into body styles is too complicated for me. And I got tons of friends. And the paper route thing dosent work out because I live out in the middle of nowhere and the closest paper route is over 10 miles away.

And like Ive said before we cant do anything because the only thing thats left the bodyman is gonna do. Once we get it back from body/paint then we can install the shocks, brakes, front suspension, exhaust etc

If your Dad doesn't know..

The young goat say's "Hey, Let's run up there and @*^# one" ....

The old goat say's..."Naw, Let's walk up there and #^$& 'em ALL"..

Moral of the story,..... moderation, little dude, moderation.....

That is the moral?    @#$%ing  all of them is moderation?

How about this:    moral of the story is have patience in getting what you want, don't rush, pace yourself going after what you want, and then you will end up having a lot more in the long run.

"Moderation is also a principle of life. In ancient Greece, the temple of Apollo at Delphi bore the inscription Meden Agan - 'Nothing in excess'. Doing something "in moderation" means not doing it excessively. For instance, someone who moderates their food consumption tries to eat all food groups, but limits their intake of those that may cause deleterious effects to harmful levels. Similarly in Christianity, moderationism is the position that drinking alcoholic beverages temperately is permissible, though drunkenness is forbidden (see Christianity and alcohol)."

Hey...I'm no genius, nor am I a "deep thinker", but I believe we are on the same page.

That is a great explanation of moderation,   perhaps another story could have that moral at the end.

"Let's go down there and #$@% all those sheep pops."

"No son, lets go down there and #@$% a few of them, then the next day we can @#$% a few more, and the next day a few more.   If you
go %#$@$ all of them at once,  your thingy might fall off"

"Ok pops, I'll just @#$% a few of them everyday instead of binge  @!$#ing  them all at once."

moral of the story:   moderation son, moderation

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
