just think it would be cool to know i personally own a body and restoration shop been on my own for 5 years now but ive been doing it most of my life as my dad was in the bussiness when i was born in 71

My main job is bus mechanic but it just pays the bills. The job I had to feed the Charger fund was doing vehicle maint. for a delivery company but I got burned out on 40 hrs. working on buses, another 20 hrs. working on delivery vans and then trying to work on the Charger in my spare time. I decided that's too much wrenching so now I'm looking for a part-time job having nothing to do with vehicles.

20 years as of today in a local sheet metal shop. Surrounded by lazy assholes that refuse to do their work, all they want to do is stay drunk/high, talk sports and walk around and complain about how much the place sucks.

The bosses refuse to fire these jackoffs, because that would require them to actually stop downloading gay porn from the internet long enough to look around them and see what is going on.

Ok that gay porn thing is really just the big boss's son, you know the one that dropped out of college after getting numerous DUI's and couldn't drive himself to school anymore so Daddy gave him a nice office job = Looking at gay porn/ebay on the computer most of the day.

The rest of the bosses spend their days hiding in the office, or playing grab-ass with the post menopausal drunken whores that pass for the female employees.

Of course the small group of us that actually give a shit and tries to get something done are looked down upon and ridiculed by the lazy assholes and get all of the shit from the bosses when something goes wrong and they get their tits in the wringer.

I need to get the f&*k out of here...this place is killing me...

I've worked my way into a friggin cave, in 10 years. I started out on the front counter of (the motorcycle dealership parts dept), then decided I was either gonna STRANGLE the very next stupid customer through the door...or transfer myself into this job position nobody had thought of yet. Service dept. parts dude (I prefer service liaison )...back in a hole, with NO windows, or a standard heating system...still better than helping customers.  


That's been fine & dandy for 2 years...(that was 4 years ago ). It's beyond old now.
For the last two years, I've been pissed at myself for still hanging around here. I get too comfortable at some jobs.


Anyway, how do I feed my Charger habit?? I don't. I feed everything else, it seems.

I was a builder/ contractor for 21 years. Over the last few years the customers seem to all be the same. Champagne tastes on a six pack budget.  The last customer (who still owes me money) called to complain she had water pouring in through their can lights in the ceiling during a heavy rain storm (never had a roof leak).  I run over and climb up on the roof. They had another contractor install a zero clearance fireplace, when the clown install the B-vent chimney through the roof he put the storm collar two feet up on the pipe, not down over the roof boot. Somehow thou this is all my fault. 
An elbow injury forced me to find another job, I'm now a site super for a large commercial developer.

I hope you get back into a shop. You just have to find the right boss. I worked in a body shop until I was in a bad accident. I really miss working there best job I ever had. After awhile the guys forgot I was a girl. I learned a lot about the way men think. LOL  I guess that is why it was easy to go into bartending. I got use to taking $hit.

There is also this German Import I like that is only $10 a 12pack, Dinkel Acker. My cousin lived in Germany for a few years and he said the Dinkel Acker is considered a cheap  gas station beer, man it sure taste good though!

Yes it is mostly in PA,  and I have to agree, it's pretty good!

It Yuengling. We just call it Lager here. LOL You can get it in other states,now, South of Pa for sure. My brother use to drive up from Quantico to get a few cases, but you can buy it in Va. now. I know you can get it in Florida, too. Not sure were else. They make Premium Beer, Premium Light, Black & Tan, Lager, Lager Light, Lord Chesterfield, but I think I'm forgetting one. I'll check at the Beer Store on weds.
