Thanks for the encouragement.

I hear you Mopar nut.  I have a very high threshold demonstrated by the first attempt at color after the first picture above.   I was actually tearing my skin rather than the needle going in and out(this happens when the power is set too low or you are having a problem with the power supply or the machine.  The power supply was malfunctioning, as well as the machine not being tuned properly, and it really didn't register in my head until the next day when I knew something wasn't right.  Had to let that one heal up and do it again.  Needless to say I was a little anxious to see how it was gonna go again.  Turned out fine but my body felt it when I tried to straighten out my leg. I don't bend like I used to.

Machines are all tuned up now and I have 2 power sources. ;D

It' 8:40 here and i'm done so no tat getting started tonight.  Been working on the coronet all day and only managed to change rear wheel cylinders, pinion and rear end seal.  Blew the air shocks too. :rotz:

Low, that's a nice one!  Great color.

It's just a hobby, i'm no artist

I wanted more ink, but know what they cost, so I decided to get all the stuff myself and do it up.

Well, I'm spooling up for another one.  Opinions are welcome.

The shamrock one on my left arm or the sailor girl on my right arm or... the irish lass on my right arm(pointing the other way and really wish I could get her sitting on an anchor)  The left arm one I will have to do with my right hand. :o  That will be tough because of the straight lines involved.

It would look very close to this.  Pardon the out of focus I was taking the pic with my left hand.  You get the  idea though.

I'll sport this for a couple days and see if it's a keeper.

I'm a lefty and semi righty so it's going to be harder in theory to do my left arm when the time comes.  It was difficult to do the popeye on my right calf with my left hand because of the awkward positioning of my leg and the fact i'm gettin old.

If you put his name on there, just don't spell it like that.     Stephen King.

I'm a big fan of his as well.  Lives about 1.5 north of me in Bangor.  Cool house, red victorian(not too huge) black metal fence with spider webs and stuff from what i remember.  He had a 4 runner last time I was there

RT, diggin the skull on your buddy.  Ask him what the thing coming out of the skull on the left side is supposed to be. :2thumbs:

Well...I'm at it again. :icon_smile_cool:  Since my car is pretty much back on the road I'm on to the ink again.
Tonight I started on the sort of pin up sailor chick.  It's a rough outline and I lost the flash stencil about halfway through and had to wing it pretty much from there.  When it heals up in a couple weeks, I will go over it again with a 7RL(size 7 round liner).  Tonight I did a 5 and you can see some mistakes and a little shake here and there.  The 7 will thicken everything up and hide any junk that needs fixing. (that's the plan anyway) At least I have a permanent outline to screw with now.  You can see where I was playing around darkening up the lines a little in a few spots and it's thicker looking due to a little blood and swelling so it's really not that thick when I wipe it down.
One thing that I feel is worth mentioning is the fact that it is on my left forearm, so try not to be too critical right now.  Reason I mention this is because I did the tattoo with my right hand.  So what you say....well...I'm left handed. :o
The Anchor was a little tough cause I almost had nothing to work with when I got to that point and I'm no artist.
couple crappy pics for ya'll.
