I think you should get a closed circuit TV camera to monitor your dryer vent & patch it in to the new TV so you can watch life-like steam & know it's working.   :D

Nice toy.  :2thumbs:

Right now. I just picked up a Vizio 47" LCD 1080P full HD  with built in 20 watt subwoofer for 1,800 at Costco. the prices will probably be coming down more, but Costco has a LIFETIME replacement policy right now. they will be changing policy sometime this spring.

run the wiring in the wall...Poke a couple holes in the drywall, one behind the speaker and one down by the floor. home depot sells speaker wire wall plates to cover the holes. But if you've got something in the way like I did (window header) white lamp cord works just fine for audio and doesn't stand out as that bad.

Wireless speakers are ok I guess, but changing batteries sounds like a pain.

I'd wait a while longer for the wireless surround sound I just bought a  new system at best buy last night and they talked me out of wireless they said it has to many bugs yet that need to be worked out  in the systems and that you have to hard wire the  main room anyways in order to use it.

jsut my thoughts here  by the way my new set is a  samsung 56 inch dlp
no pic yet since it will get delivered and all set up the wek of 3/14/ while i am on vacation.

I have mine on stands behind my couch.....wires are under the carpet

HD tv is great IF you actually watch all the channels......I got my 42" Sony LCD last year & upgraded to Dish Network's HD service.....25 channels!!   I actually only watched 3 of them though :rotz:

Very nice indeed. That TV is sweet!!!

If i'm not mistaken,  i see the Dukes of Hazzard is the second movie from the top on the right hand side of your tv. :scope: :yesnod:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Brock Samson

i think it's amazing that when i was first blown away by a 50 inch sony HD  - they cost $15K that  musta been about 5-6 years ago...

and so, I'm gonna prolly go with a 46" samsung myself, as their phone has been top notch... i think i may put a piece of sheet rock on that wall and bury all the stuff so it fit's flush and is lit.
i got plans..
  just no money...  :-\
