Everything near me is not worth the time. What they do have for pre-mid 70s is totally stripped out. And has been for years.

anyone hear of a guy called "Fran the Charger man"?
He had a ad in the local paper several years ago and I called him and drove over there, he had about a dozen 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen. chargers and TONS of parts for sale, motors, intakes, rearends, too much to even see in one day that I was there. I moved about a year later and lost his phone number.
I remember it was north of Kewaskum somewhere.

I think I know about who your talking about. There is a guy just off county HWY S about 3 miles north of Kewaskum. He is a friend and neighbour of one of my friends. He pretty much in into third gen Chargers. But there still is a shell of a '69 sitting behind his barn that has been shot up and had all the windows blown out. I am told the frame is totally gone too. I have never met him, but my friend told me his whole barn is stuffed full of Charger parts. The most he has ever seen in one place. And he doesn't wanna sell them anymore.

Then if you go north across the old railroad bridge, turn left on V, go about a mile and a half, there is Kewaskum Auto Recyclers. But they don't have anything from the '70s or older that is Mopar. I go there a lot.

that sounds like the same guy, he had three buildings at different locations full of cars and parts that he said he was selling off to restore a '67 hemi charger he had and a 69 R/T he bought in high school. I saw both cars in a building next to a 68, another 69, a 70 and a 71 R/T. His house was full of NOS stuff and he was a really decent guy, he told me he knew of alot more old mopars around the state that are hiding in barns. I remember him telling me of a 70 R/T plum crazy, black interior 4 speed that is in a barn near there that was parked in '72 and covered. I tried but he wouldn't give me the location, cant say that I blame him though.

TheAutoArchaeologist

That's down in western IL.

Only other WI yards is Newville and Sewards.  And most of the stuff in the "Wisconsin" folder is from around Janesville.

I also know of a complete 73 Chally sitting a little north of the Dells, but haven't been back there in years.

TheAutoArchaeologist

No, the one I know of is green, sitting in a sorta scrap/junkyard about 1/2 hour north of the Dells.

Sewards is in Newville WI, across the street from Lakeland Camping Resort.  That's where my families place is.
