Web Browser Problem

I am using internet explorer 6. I have trouble only when on ebay. The pages load terribly slow, all other web sites are OK. My computer is old, it's a 450 Pentium III with 320 MB of ram( I should replace the computer but it works fine) I am using windows XP. I have DSL so I can't figure out what my problem is. Do I need to update internet explorer? Is there something I need to clean up on the computer, ie cookies and such? Help

If it's only one site then the problem most likely isn't your computer. eBay was loading really slow for me earlier so maybe they just have a lot of traffic.
