Shaw may be offering you a Canadian only feed there Bronzy but one of the affiliates will likely be offering it.  Otherwise, your only channels would be Global and CTV.  You must have more than that?  Try calling your cable provider?

There is more to these cars than how much more valuable mine would be if there were less.... I don't care. It's not the point of me hating the DOH. I hate the destruction of these classic cars for no reason. I don't want to be mean, but I don't believe your "getting" the whole picture. I can't take more of these incredibly dumb ass movie/tv shows portraying the same scenario, same plot every few years destroying more Chargers. The show was great the first time around. You must just be in it for the pure money side of the hobby then. Because stupid movies and shows like that, I'll never be able to afford another '69 Charger, my favorite car. Christ, just the damn frame rails will be worth $50,000 pretty soon. That's just stupid. I personally hate seeing any car ever made being as crazy over prices as what they are. The hobby is turning into a sole rich man hobby. And unless you have millions to support it, your pretty much out. That's wrong.  :blahblah::flame: :Twocents:

I'm with you, 69chargerboy. More unnecessary destruction of these beautiful cars for yet another turd Hollywood production no one will watch, remember, or care about. The original series was great, but in this day & age totalling these cars is just plain idiotic.

Do we actually know that any car is going to be wrecked at all?   Maybe they could have a POS bondo car that they thrash on the whole time and keep refilling and painting each time, that was already a beat up car, and use a nice one for the rest of the filming, then all they did was beat up on one single already beat up car, then they sell the stunt car when the show is over for cheap to someone who wants to restore it.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

MoparManJim

okay, before we get out of hand here, which I'll handle myself, I'm not rich and I don't have a shit load of $$$ or nor do i have a money tree (who does LOL). Okay I was wrong when I said stupid chargers, they are not stupid at all, they are nice cars, but why make a movie if a car don't get hit or somthing because then what good would be the movie? This new Dukes movie they didn't really even use that many chargers, they did use more potrol cars though, so start complaining about them! I heard that the cars they used was from the last movie (05) and I guess there are some CGI shots in the movie that is coming on tv this week. I'm not in this hobby for making $$$ like maybe some of you are though (I'm not saying no names). What ever you do with your charger is up to you an not me!

All I see when some post about the Dukes is mostly they are probly the ones that don't like the show or just plum don't like the orange 01 thing or as some of us Duke fans call's it The General Lee. The cars aren't going up in price really its just seems like it is, is all. Heck the cars are 37 plus years old now days, this isn't 1972 anymore and the cars are afew years old.. Yes they do wrack afew chargers per movie but some of the times each jump they reuse the charger for another jump until it get totaled. Heck back in the 80's an 90's they EVEN at that time had mopars getting smach up in films or getting rolled or blown up, was you guys whinning then? ???, probly not so why start whinning now for. They are still palnty ful of chargers out there for you to find an buy yet.. and you won't won't find them if you set back an whin on here LOL about the Dukes an them wracking more chargers. I hope they make a 3rd movie as I heard they are pose to when they did the 1st movie back in 05.

They just did a movie call'd Grindhouse with Kirt Russul in it as a stunt man, they used '69 chargers for that car along with a challenger an yet I didn't hear to much whinning on that BUT when the Dukes is mention its like a heard of cattle in here all of a sudden LOL. Wheres the boat at I think we might need it LOL

Just to let you all know I'm not in the hobby for $$$, I'm in the hobby because I like mopars and I like chargers.

Well I am a Dukes freak but only because of the original series. The 2005 movie was probably one of the worst movies ever made and I'm sure this Dukes Beginning garbage will be much worse if possible. I sure won't waste my time watching it.

dukes freaks wont watch it, i guess  cause it ain't up to the quality levels real dukes fans expect.. or maybe it's the production values or maybe the dialog aint up to thier high standards..
perhaps the cinimatography isn't sophisticated to the sundance goers, those that don't like dukes or G.Ls or '69 being what's that word?. "wrack"?.. wracked wont watch it..
so you think... the prices aint goin up huh?..  :smilielol:

I think that since the GL is a cartoon joke of a car they should use the new Creeder Charger. The car fits the role.

wow...sure am glad that it has been since 1979 when the dukes first aired and we still can't find anything better to argue about...  :rotz:
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

I'm just glad they aren't airing it against American Idol.

hey Hemihead, the GL is a race car! or do you know what a race car pose to look like? ;D, guess you must call all race cars cartoon joke cars then  :-\. last I knew a race car had numbers on the doors and a race car driver name on the roof, well to the GL it had numbers on the doors (01) and a name on the roof but wasn't the driver name though but the car itself (General Lee), he must have driven him self LOL.. which is what they do call Remote Control  ;D. Also if they would use the Creeder Charger people would love that probly alot an use it as the potrol cars.

this really very funny.

yup - it couldn't be scripted better.

How about this then? Remember the old FBI series with Efrem Zimbalist Jr.? How a panhead Harley could obviously change into a Yanaha DT-1 painted white with a windshield and saddlebags while off road and next scene be back to the panhead?
Well this new DOH can have a 1969 GL run up to a ramp and a poor scene change into the Magnum sedan version leaping or ramping or whatever and flies into the wild blue yonder, flies in the order of 500 feet or more and hits shattering into several hundred pieces.  Another hack  chop back into a mint '69 GL on rebound and off to the horizon. And of course the sound of rubber howling while on gravel, grass  and all the other good stuff. 1/2 way through the budget couldn't afford to paint and dress the Magnum sedans and are filmed as delivered - black, yellow, blue - just a masking taped 01 on the doors.

WB gave them something like $8 million dollars for the "DOH-beginning" shoot.
And that's what they did with it.

I'm pretty sure I could have shot that low budget piece of crap for about $5,000.

Yeah.  Incredible what they can manage to make stuff cost these days.

Modern Hollywood could probably find a way to make a "Blair Witch" flick cost $20 million.
I'm not even kidding with this speculation.
