I think it's out of a 70 but I'm new to this, so I'm prob. wrong.

Manufacturing date is 10/8/1969 ---  this means (99%) it came out of a 1970 model car...

18 spline A833 transmission.

05166547 is the partial VIN of a '70 car, the 2nd character should be a letter for the assembly plant code. The "5" is probably a "G" for thre Saint Louis plant.

I have the same casting but I can't find this in any reference list.
