Here's what I got from them yesterday...... Pleasantly surprised it showed up. It wasn't due till Monday...... So, I have a weekend project now...

Troy, what did that run you for the conversion?   That would be pretty cool.  Right now I have mine bypassed and I refuse to take out my cluster again but..... ;)

Chris...... I believe it was $125....... I thought it was $100......  I'll hopefully find out this week........ Tinkering with Dana on cleaning and such as I put her back together............   I'm going now to connect the black and red amp wires together and MAKE sure they are isolated and insulated.... Slow going with the race on as well........

I got my dash out in about an half an hour..... The trick is letting that steering column down and then sliding it out.....

I sent an email to redline a couple years back and the reply was that they didn't do the conversion... but I think it was some secretary perhaps that replied... a few weeks later.

So did you have to send them just your guage?   Or the whole back of the cluster with wiring also?

Brian,
I sent them the housing with the printed circuit board in place and the gauge I was going to sacrifice... They basically use only the face and needle.... They can silkscreen the face to read volts or the OEM amperage readings....... I choose to go the OEM route..  Shannon was real easy to talk to.. His assistance was as well, she was very responsive to my questions......

the total cost of the cluster was around $850.. they installed a tach and removed my clock, and converted the amp to a volt gauge. they also made all my gauges white. they did an outstanding job and all my gauges read perfectly. they also went over my wiper and dimmer switch and made sure they were ok also. shannon was great!!! turn around took about 8 weeks.

Shakey,,,  Is that printed circuit board new? Or, did Shannon "restore" it?

I think it's just restored.

If my memory serves me correct, he cleans up the existing board with special attention placed on the contact areas and re-solders the pins in place.  I do recall him pointing out that he, unlike others, solders all the way around the pins.

To be 100% sure, you'd be best to double check with him before taking my word for it.

That's what it looks like......... He does great work....... The soldering of the pins is a great thing..... I've seen too many loose pins on tht boards. It has to effect the conductivty... I wish I would have known he did that, I would have had him do that on the one I sent him............
