horn relay testing ?

is there a way of testing the horn relay im not sure whats wrong but i have no horn and would like to figure it out before i have to take the steering wheel off ...is there a few tests i can do ......thanks

grond the terminal that goes to the steering column usually a black wire , you will feel the relay clip assuming it has power to it & it is working , , you can run a 12 v wire to the horns themselves to test them
