Can a Mopar Perforance electronic ignition coversion distributor run with a points style ballast resistor?  I know the ohms of resistance are different but I was wondering if I could keep the original ballast resistor in place or OE appearance or would that totally mess up my ignition system?

Maybe you could find the correct old points dizzy and throw in a Pertronix Igniter and throw out the box.   Rewire it for stock appearance.   Jacks has that $25 repro ballast resister.
