Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

I finally saw it last night. It was better than I thought it would be but there were way too many themes in the story that have been beat to death. How many movies, even movies just from the comic book genre, are about the antihero who's working for/against the devil? I can think of Spawn and Hellboy right off the top of my head. In that sense Ghost Rider is pretty late to the party.

But the special effects were good. And as always Eva Mendes was real easy on the eyes.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Except Ghost Rider was created BEFORE those comic books! Technically speaking Ghost Rider isn't against Satan... he's against a demon called Mephisto....

Yea, I figured that but when I said "late to the party" I meant late to the big screen.

And I don't know about the comics but according to the movie he is using his power against Satan and the evil in the world. In Cage's last scene with Peter Fonda the Satan character wasn't too happy with Ghost Rider's decision to hold onto the curse he'd been given.
