Big Lebowski

Emerich was a distant name of ours. Way back when, our relative was screwed over big time by John Jacob Astor. They had a fur trading co. together. So evertime I see John J. Astor go down on the Titannic, I cheer. :icon_smile_big:

John Kennedy was pretty cool. Seems to have been a good man, He died 3 years before I was born, but on the same day.

You and I were born on the same exact day and year.

Oh and I don't have any famous relatives as far as I know, never really heard or asked, but I have heard my lineage on my pops side is linked to the IRA. Don't know if that's famous or infamous, LOL.
My pops cousin(Jimmy McSweeney) turned down a shot at pitching for the Yankees a long time ago to become a priest, then quit that 10 years later. :rotz:

Well.... he's not famous yet, but barring any career ending injury, he probably will be... my nephew is a pitcher in the Baltimore Orioles farm system, and is on the active roster for the Orioles- he got to start one game last year, but got shelled (rookie jitters). They are predicting big things in the future for him though!

I punched some guy named "little Bow wow" in the face at a gas station in AL once. I though he was on drugs when he came up yelling about how long I was talking. I got scared and just punched him in the nose as hard as I could. My wife called the cops and when they arrived and questioned him he kept telling them "I'm little bow  wow,  I'm little bow wow" No one filed charges and we each just went our own way.
Is he famous?

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

probably, have the geneology book around her somewhere.  the one thing I do know is that all Hancock's are related in some way shape or form (through blood or marriage).  there is just not enough of us out there to disprove it.
