My mother's side of the family goes back to the Hapsburg's (Royal Family of Austria) I did some reading up on it once years ago.... They were not very good people.

On my mother's side my great grandmother married into Doc Holiday's family.  My mom always said that Doc Holiday was great gramma Holiday's brother-in-law, not sure.  Someday I will try and trace it down.  Also, my aunt on my dad's side has been doing a family lineage and she says we are direct decendents of one of the Kings of Finland.  My dad's mom was full blooded Fin from the old country and she spoke Finnish fluently right up to the day she died.

Extremely shocked as a teenager to go to my grandparents house and see a christmas card from the Farley's. Chris was on Saturday Night Live at the time and I was a big fan. Well.... he's not famous yet, but barring any career ending injury, he probably will be... my nephew is a pitcher in the Baltimore Orioles farm system, and is on the active roster for the Orioles- he got to start one game last year, but got shelled (rookie jitters). probably, have the geneology book around her somewhere.  the one thing I do know is that all Hancock's are related in some way shape or form (through blood or marriage).  there is just not enough of us out there to disprove it.
