My 2nd cousin's name is Jerry Terrell: http://www.baseball-reference.com/t/terreje01.shtml

He and your second cousin probably knew each other. Looks like they were in KC at the same time (if I'm reading this right), Jerry stayed on with KC as a scout for a few years after hanging up the cleats: http://www.baseball-reference.com/l/leibrch01.shtml

On my mother's side my great grandmother married into Doc Holiday's family.  My mom always said that Doc Holiday was great gramma Holiday's brother-in-law, not sure.  Someday I will try and trace it down.  Also, my aunt on my dad's side has been doing a family lineage and she says we are direct decendents of one of the Kings of Finland.  My dad's mom was full blooded Fin from the old country and she spoke Finnish fluently right up to the day she died.

Not directly related to anyone famous, but my grandparents(RIP) were really good friends with Chris Farley's parents.
