I think this is an old one, and they could not get the military to give them a jtol pod, so they used some really pyrotechnics that were just as powerful.....busted!!!!
RECHRGED

TruckDriver

That is a older one. The one I wanna see that I missed is the one where they crashed 2 semis together.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Did you see the one where they wrecked the (67?) Plymouth Fury? That was a sad, sad episode.  :'( I believe they were testing the "dropped driveshaft" myth...if the driveshaft came disconnected, would it vault the car? I believe they also used the car for some other cruel experiment. Anyway, the car was completely destroyed.

I love Mythbusters!!! I would love to have a job there! The JATO/Chevy episode was on about a year ago last night was a repeat. My favorite episode was the one where they blew up the cement truck. Watchin a cement truck vaporize has to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm grinning just thinking about it! :icon_smile_big:

Thats an AWESOME pic C_F!!!!

That was a sad episode as I have a soft spot for C-bodies. The one where they destroyed the diesel Mercedes pissed me off a lil too. :flame: But in the end I guess its worth it...

I think they also used that car for the "Tissue box of death" myth. Though I might be wrong on that.

Ha haha!! Yeah  I'll never forget that one, either! That was awesome, wasn't it?? The way that cement truck blew up was actually comical. The pieces flew off like they were made of plastic. It looked like a plastic toy car with an M80 going off inside of it! Its amazing what you can do with a few hundred pounds of explosives.   :icon_smile_big:

Yep, that was the other one, the one where they finally destroyed the Fury. Kinda made me cringe too, especially how complete and original it was when they got it. There are plenty of old Pontiacs and Buicks that they shouldve picked. At least they stank up that clean Vette real bad, its probably ruined for good. I agree on the cement truck being the coolest thing ever shown on TV. Very cool, I think it totally caught even Jamie off guard how destructuve it turned out to be....
