What's a reasonable price for a 1965 Plymouth Valiant Slant Six?

I've got a chance to get a 1965 Plymouth Valiant in probably a 2-2.5 condition in a range of 1-5. It runs, drives, and has minimal surface rust and is in primer with all the original parts there, minus whatever mechanical parts have been replaced over the years. I haven't looked it over and pulled all the numbers. But I know it's a 65 automatic, slant six. I'm not sure if it's the 170 CID or the 225 CID. It was a daily driver that needed a radiator and the customer didn't want to pick it up after the work was done, so they told me to make them an offer. It would be another project to just play around with similar to this 76 Datsun B210 I'm going to sell. Once sold I might decide to get this Plymouth, if it's reasonably priced. Is 1000 or 1500 reasonable?

Sounds more than reasonable to me. Those cars don't have a big following. Cars like that would sell for probably $800 tops in my area. My Dad sold a 64 Dart about 2 years ago with no rust and straight body for $550

That sounds fair. A while back I was looking at a '66 Valiant that was in real nice condition, only the paint was worn down to the primer in a few spots, and he was asking $1,700.
