I finally got my craptastic Charger driveable again with the Dana out back.   It only took me a solid month, but who's keeping track?   :P

Anyway, here are some brand spankin' new pics of the underside, the topside, and my other piles of trash.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Big Lebowski

Dana's just say "Go ahead, try to break me" then the u-joint (4 speed cars) gets all the bad news :icon_smile_shock:
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

Nothing like a Dana with a chrome cover to give a car attitude.  Nice!  I dig the lug nuts on the shock bolts too!  :icon_smile_cool:

I'd be in jail for sure driving that Caddie around.  :icon_smile_evil:

Heh... thanks all!

It's got 1350 U-joints in it, front and rear... and a brand spankin' new Dynotech 3.5" diameter driveshaft.   I think the next weakest link is the trans itself. :D   I have broken a fair share of parts with it, thanks to the 4 speed...so it was finally time to upgrade.

The lug nuts were handy... shock nuts are 1/2-20, and my old ones were nasty.... so on went the chrome.  Bling bling!

The Caddy's mine, too.   Functional sidepipes, flamethrowers (yes, really), and it's now a perma-convertible.   Sawzall got in a fight with the top.  I can post more pics if anybody's interested.

Blusmbl, wish I could say I was bored today, or at lease made some head way. But at last, till I poped a Cam 2 nothing went right.

What's under the hood that need's a Dana? I did see the fuel slump in the gas tank. I need one of them as well.

Nothing special, just a mild 906 headed, 509 cammed 440 and a 4 speed.  The 4 speed and a tight clutch is what mandated the Dana, not the motor. :D

It went 13.00 @ 107 shifting like a girl about a year ago.

What do you have for mufflers?  I have 3" race bullets on there, and it sounds like the apocalypse when I fire it up and it's trying to idle dead cold.  :icon_smile_cool:

I got the TTI 3" X system with the dynomax super turds.   Yours is definitely louder... I just meant the basic rumpity rump of the 509...

I got a 528 solid in the basement parts depot to go in this fall  :yesnod:

Yep...they certainly thump, don't they?  The 509 is one of the nastiest sounding cams hydraulic cams I've ever heard in ANY motor.  :icon_smile_tongue:

I've got an aluminum flywheel, Long pressure plate, disc, 10.5:1 flattops, Scat rods and some other crap lying in the home parts depot, just no funding to install them at this point.  :icon_smile_blackeye:
