General Ryan

Hey guys, a friend took some nite pics of the General and my buddy's 70 Mach 1 together.

We cruise around every Fri/Sat. nite, weather permiting and hang around with the other muscle car guys to relieve the work week pains and have fun.  I'm impressed with the turnout of the quality.

FYI- some have seen this mustang in my other pics and those curious, its a #s matching 351 clevland 4bbl and a 4spd and yes, the govanor was just recently removed and he's much happier with that!

I love the pic where everything is blurred but the cars.  That was awesome.  When I get out of high school I'm hoping to be a photography/media arts major. :yesnod:

General Ryan

Thanks fellas, my friend actually took them and the camera used I believe he said is a cheapee from Wal-Mart, but he used a tripod and I hope he shares some of his tips with me to pass along to you.

I am planning a HUGE musclecar get together at my friends' place (gorgeous house/land) and happens to own a restored 100% factory 68 HEMI Charger R/T 4spd, so I'll post pics of it when they're done.

I am actually supposed to go with him to his friend's place in New York to look at a rust free 69 318 Charger thats driveable for around 9 grand US funds.
Hopefully its a true story and I can pick that car up and turn it into a nice cruiser/way I woulda bought new car.

Drooooool!!

Ok, heres the infoo on the camera

the cam is a really cheap Canon Powershot A400...3.2 mp....I paid $200 for it at Wal-mart like 2 years ago

That was the message my friend sent me reguarding the camera, hope this helps.
Again thanks again on the compliments, and I'll pass them along to the photographer too, as we are planning another shoot and one also for the 68 HEMI 4spd.

photojoe

hey, yeah I took the pics....it was awesome to be able to shoot these 2 beautiful cars
anytime you want more pics Ryan just let me know....anyone local for that matter....I'll take pics of anything

as far as settings on the camera: ISO=100, exposure=-2/3...that is all
photoshop was used to resize and add sig....that's it....and in the one pic to blur the backround out

clarity comes from a tripod (I use a Soligor MB100) and the cameras 2sec timer.....tripod is a must....nobody can be quite steady enough

Goldfinger71

Awesome pics!

the thing about my camera (being that it was very cheap) is that it HATES light....I've tried shooting headlights on too many times, and sworn too many times to bother with it

I'll be getting a Canon Digital Rebel XT soon enough...then it's game on

thanks for sharing those wonderfull pics!!!

General Ryan

Well, thank you very much!!!

If y'all like, I'll do my best to keep em coming.

I'm thinking a cool setting would be on a dirt country road where nobody is around and it gives off two things from the photo.
1) It looks like its straight outta Hazzard county
2) It may look like its 1969 with a clear picture (could mess with the color in editing to enhance that feel)
