LMAO

Serves him right for him and his team trying to make Toyota look good on Camery's first year in the Nascar season by cheating on the first car.

The actions taken by NASCAR resulted from violations of 12- 4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing), 12-4-Q (car, car parts components and/or equipment not conforming to NASCAR rules) and 20-15.2C (gasoline must not be blended with alcohols, ethers or other oxygenates). :rotz:

They should know better than that. Especially that last one.

I'm lovin it though. Keep it up. Great example for the other Toyota teams.

I don't know why everyone has their panties in a bunch about Toyota coming in with all their $$$. They said the same thing when they went to F1, but they haven't even won a race after spending $2 billion. They tried the IRL, had a good season or two, then got their asses handed to them by Honda and they left with their tails between their legs under the guise that they wanted to concentrate on NASCAR.

That is great. I can not stand that POS Waltrip, or his brother. I am sure we will have to hear DW make all kinds of excuses for his brother "Mikey" during the race. Great to hear.

I also heard that Kasey Khane got caught for cheating as did Matt Kenseth.

Funny stuff eh!

Scott Riggs and Elliot Sadler too were in the mix.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Yes they did. There are two holes on all the cars in the rear wheelwell, that a couple hoses run through during a race. For qualifying, the hoses are not in there, and are supposed to be taped shut. Kasey and Matts car was missing the tape. That was what NASCAR called cheating for them.

Scott and Elliot were busted for having illigal bolts on thier rear spoilers holding it on. Whats funny is that the bolts are in the trunk, not even visible from the outside of the car. They have been able to use that style of bolt for the last several years, but this year NASCAR went with a different brand of bolt. Ray Evernham is appealing.

So in your eyes, it's OK to cheat a little bit?   :scratchchin:

Thats not what I said Shakey...There's a big difference between ops.... I accidently put an additive in the tank (that I know is not supose to be there) vs a piece a tape that could perhaps fall off before inspection if the tape didn't adhear properly of someone was in a rush to get things done and just forgot about it.

"on wed. Micheal Waltrip's crew chief and team director were escorted out of daytona motor speedway for rules violation do to a substance found in his intake manifold in pre-qualifing inspection on 2/11. the substance ended up being a ingredient in jet fuel to up the octane of the fuel at high speeds"

You guys are aware that foreign cars have raced in NASCAR before.........right?

Toyota, which has been doing business in the United States since 1957, will become the first foreign brand to compete on NASCAR's top circuit since the 1950s, when Jaguar, Porsche, Volkswagen and other European brands competed.

Again, our heritage and pride as a country being sold out to the highest bidder. That's what I believe everyone is so disturbed about. Can't  there be anything sacrid anymore? Everythings always about the money. I just want to have something we can call our own without being labeled as  being against world domination. Is that so bad????

Too true.  As much as I don't like it in Toyota's case...I hate Toyota...but it's true.

I for one think Dodge was right for pulling out of NASCAR in the early 70's because that is really when they pulled the "stock" from "Stock Car".
Now that the Camry is the most American car built in America I have no problem with it racing.  I hope that it beats the crap out of the "American" cars, and inspires them to work harder to compete.
