Can't say I'll miss paris......

I won't miss him either. In fact, when the Utah State Patrol was following him I thought we'd hear more of those racial profiling comments, like "this is what you get for driving black"  :blahblah: :blahblah:  See you later MoFo, you will not be missed.  :nana: :nana: :nana:

Mike,

Another great episode...I look forward to this show every week  :yesnod:

First of all, great job on the challenge this week.  The Charger really does seem to be set up perfect for this type of flogging, and you are a surgeon with that thing.  I'm not much of a swerve and juke kind of driver, so that would have been a nasty challenge for someone like me.

I also loved the way you approached the "Who do you want to see go home?" question.  No matter where you place in the rally, you have certainly represented Mopar guys in a classy light.  I like to think of Mopar fans as kind of marching to a different drum.

It was cool to see you guys running in Utah.  Moab is about 6 hours from me, and my brother and I try to make at least one trip out there a year to go dirt bike riding on the slick rock.  If you ever get a chance to go back there, do some exploring off road.  Moab is almost like the surface of the moon in spots.  Cliff drops, arches, and all kinds of unique terrain you just won't see anywhere else, and some of the toughest off roading you can ever do.

Dirty Rice and Paris are gone, finally, and their friendship seems to be as well.  Those guys really brought out the worst in each other.  Paris doing a mini interview about how bad DR sucked in doing his job during the race was really tacky.  You didn't hear the Mexicans complain about Ceasar's dump...

My questions this week:

1.  I'm glad you didn't go after the time bonus, but what made you decide to skip it this run?

2.  I see you added a reserve fuel can to the car...how pivotal was this in helping your times?

3.  I know you can't answer this one, but I have to just say what the :flame: were the Olds idiots thinking calling out Jim?  Seriously, if the actual shows are any real indication at all, your team has been very good about steering clear of all the in fighting and backbiting.  Unless you bought all the maps from another gas station again, what could the Cutless idiots possibly have to whine about?  Those two take the moron label to all new heights.  I didn't like Rice and Paris much, but I really wanted the Cutless boys to get knocked out this show.

NYCMille

Question time:

Skued: I have question for you about the gas cans.  Carrying them in the cab with you didn't have problems with vapors?
- Actually no, the cans (two 5 gallon) were sealed quite well, no worries there. I am not a big fan of carrying cans in the car but you do what you have to do...

TUFCAT:  Speaking of piss - - you guys didn't do that - -  did ya?
- No sir... we held it until we got to the checkpoint...

volk68:
1.  I'm glad you didn't go after the time bonus, but what made you decide to skip it this run?
- Jim and figured we were in a good spot since there was 20+ minutes separating us from Honda so made the decision to just shoot straight for the checkpoint...

2.  I see you added a reserve fuel can to the car...how pivotal was this in helping your times?
- We actually had two 5 gallon cans at this point... these can SAVED us many time at these stages of the rally.

3.  I know you can't answer this one, but I have to just say what the  were the Olds idiots thinking calling out Jim?  Seriously, if the actual shows are any real indication at all, your team has been very good about steering clear of all the in fighting and backbiting.  Unless you bought all the maps from another gas station again, what could the Cutless idiots possibly have to whine about?  Those two take the moron label to all new heights.  I didn't like Rice and Paris much, but I really wanted the Cutless boys to get knocked out this show.
- Honestly I can't say... but you'll see next week and be like "Are you f'ing' kidding me???"....

SeattleCharger

Didn't mind watching team Honda, and I still think the Olds guys are funny,  surprised though at preview for next week, what they said to JIm, dang, what is going on there?

only really irritating team is team TA,   if I have to keep hearing that    :rotz:   know-it-all  bossy dad and
little whiny princess, PLEASE,  be quiet,     ( I know this view is not popular, as she is good looking, k? no offense,)

Show could have some more of team Charger,  hear some more of mike's comments and jim's one liners,  those are good

As teams go out, the air time for those remaining will go way up,  when its Charger in top 3 and then 2, half the show will be them and their car,

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

pettyfan43

3 and 0 in the challenges is great. I think the real cream is rising to the top.

Anybody got a screen grab of the opening shot with the burnout? I LOVE THAT!!!!!!

By the way when chachi was calling out you guys at the end of the preview, my wife said, "No he did NOT!"
It was pretty funny here! That and the Every mopar nut in the world comment.

I'll have to say, if Jim didn't hammer that guy, he is a LOT more patient than I am. I'd have grabbed him by the head and squeezed till it popped! But from what Jason the F150 guy said last week, they must have had you guys in a position where you couldn't fight or you would get punted.

Good luck and can't wait till next week!

The challenge was actually a lot of fun, but again, they cut a lot of it. For instance, they didn't show that we had to turn around, dodge all boxes and race back and stop in a pre-determined box.

I reckon that's why they showed the Honda and Lotus teams doing the "hand brake" spin at the end of their challenges.

My chick commented that she was PMS'ing in last night's episode..

which brings me to my next question for Mike/Jim -

Was there a limit on how much stuff (clothes, toiletries, etc) people could take with them? Let's say y'all ran out of deodorant or in the chick's case, feminine products - where you SOL at that point and you had to get them from gas stations and whatnot, or did you get a designated "time off" to go to WalMart and restock on essentials?

Ponch... Dude, I'm sure she packed well...I don't know a woman in the world that would forget "that" - - especially on a long road trip!  You should've asked your lady, she'd tell you.

im sure she did, but it did prompt me to ask the question about such "essentials" in general, both for the guys and the girls.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I have one question...who was Jim talking to when you guys were in the car ready for the challenge and he looked over at everybody and said "when this is done, remind me to kick your ass" or something like that. Was that one of the producers? :D

Great job tonight. I see the Lotus is gonna try their little plan of leaving somebody with a big time deficit. Hope it backfires.

P.S.- loved your addition to the toast at the end of the show when the lotus boys were toasting themselves and you added" and to the Charger for kicking the Lotus's ass again" :hah: I can't remember it exactly now, but I LMAO when you threw it back at 'em. Go Mike and Jim. :yesnod:

Mike, You said something to Jim when no one was in front of you . Then Jim said something about a Harem and 300 Viagra.  What was it ?  Might be something for Big Jim's book.  Did you get a new wheel ?  Cause we didn't see you airing up this time. I know I asked this before but you didn't answer it. Or maybe you can't. And another one liner of Big Jim's " Who's your Daddy and what does he do? "

Half a man? It'd only take 1/4 of that half to kick both those boys' a$$e$.

Good job guys :2thumbs:, I'm really enjoying the show. You guys have a great attitude and the one liners are really funny (love the car and wish I had one). For the next BullRun that starts in Montreal, I'll PM you and give you a few hints about the place. I live about 2 hours away but I don't want to post the information here in case your competition is reading these posts. If you have any questions after, please ask and good luck on this show - I hope you guys win!!! :2thumbs:.

My interpretation was the he was good-naturedly ribbing the Allsops for putting him in a challenge where freakin' boxes were getting tossed rapid-fire at his beautiful car :D

Hola' Guys -

General_01: who was Jim talking to when you guys were in the car ready for the challenge and he looked over at everybody and said "when this is done, remind me to kick your ass"
- I believe it was one of the show's producers... we messed with them the entire time we we're on the show it was a blast.

71ChallengeHer: Did you get a new wheel ?
- Naw' we just bought a small compressor at a gas station and kept filling it up every morning before the start of each leg.

Just 6T9_CHGR: Mike, dont know if it was asked already but did you know the Olds guys from the area?
- I didn't know about them, but they knew the car as soon as it pulled up. They actually only live 10 minutes away from me. Andre' actually said he spoke to me at a gas station one day and commented on the car at one point while in Queens.

ChargerPete: I will ABSOLUTELY take you up on that!

Mike, how awkward is it when the police pullover a Bullrun car and theres a film crew running up to the car to videotape everything?  :patrol: I was wondering what kind of rules applied to that situation (did they have to get the officers permission before filming it or was it a quick reshoot after the offiicer made contact with you guys)......  especially since Alsop gets out of the car during a traffic stop - - that's the #1 thing you don't do when a a cop pulls you over, unless you want a gun drawn on you!   My guess is....that cop would not be pleased  to have a video crew rolling up to make a circus out of the events...when he's trying to protect himself from danger and do his job at the same time. Now, my second related question, were the cops really that cool? Nobody gets a ticket yet, and the cops seemed more than willing to have the sequence of events video taped for all America to see. By the way,  just a bit of irony ...in Vanishing Point 2 - the sherriff from Utah drove a black 68 Charger, and then you get pulled over by Utah state patrol who also seems to like the Charger  :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA:

I hope you can answer all of these questions....sorry if I asked too many bro.
