When you actually see what I put the Charger through and how hard I drove that car I have a feeling I'll be getting mixed responses from people - some will be cheering and others will just say "Did he really just do that with that car?". Just know that I did ALL THE DRIVING in this show and never once did anyone else place their hands on the steering wheel. It was a total rip.

That sounds like something most of here would give our left nad to be able to do, congrats Man!!

I'm gonna miss it, I hope it get's released on DVD shortly afterward.

Why not?? You drive a car on our crazy azz roads don't you??  Just spend a week driving in NYC, Southern California and anywhere from central to South Florida. If you can survive that you can drive anything anywhere..

WOW...COOL!!!!!!!! i finally got to watch to show last night from when i recorded it on tues!!!!
that was pricelss...... runnin outta the gas statio w/ ALLLL the maps under his shirt!!!!!!!!!!!! that's right..... don't F*&%&*CK with us from JERSEY / NYC!!!!!!!! hahaha LOved it when goldberg told the spoiled (albeit...the btunette was HOT!!!) sissy broads to take a hike & beat it!!!!!! hahahaha!!!!

the car looked GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! i guess they wouldn't even let you guys have camera's for pics of the beautifull scenery along the way!?!?!? (if not...that sucks, it looked beautifull!!!) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!! can't wait for tues show!!!

One thing that did surprise me though was how they got away with filming the whole incident with the Olds getting stopped for speeding.  I can't imagine any of the local police here allowing a camera crew to film a stop like that.

i'm guessing they had prior permission from all the surrounding towns??? sorta like how they film cops!!!
that was funny, how nervous he was and stuttering, about his friends...uhhh my family on the force!!! LOL
hahaha that always cracls me up when i pull people over & how nervous & shakey ( ha!! no pun intended!! LOL) they get trying to look for all their paperwork!!!!!

Some of the numbers on the cars were a bit exagerated - it's interesting we didn't see any of the cars until we all gathered at Whitefish for the start. We were trying to figure out which cars would make it and which ones wouldn't... all the contestants were sizing eachother up and trying to figure out which car had what advantages and disadvantages. For instance, we looked at the Scion, BMW and Honda and though they would have the best gas mileage. We figured that us, the Olds and 57 would have the worst. Everyone was also very secretive about what was done to their cars which I didn't really understand. People would ask us what was done to the Charger and I would tell them as I didn't see how it would make or break us in anyway - if anything we thought it was an advantage to tell them everything we did so as it may in fact make them all a bit nervous.

In the next episode on Tues. you will see us do a challenge and I am very curious to see what the others thought of the Charger when the challenge is complete. Some people where very forthcoming about their backgrounds and skill levels, others not so much. As time progressed though you could see who was full of sh*t and who was telling the truth - it was a pretty cool experience.

As far as the cops were concerned, they had NO IDEA what we were doing. They did not know a show was being filmed until we told them which worked out both good and bad as see as time goes on.

Hitman - we actually did have a camera that was given to us to take pics with, but the memory cards were taken at the end of every leg and all the pics where stripped off. We did in fact drive through some of the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen but being a NY'r it was a bit strange for me as I am used to concrete everywhere. I was just amazed that people actually lived in some of the area that we went too... when I say there was nothing there, I mean there was NOTHING there... for miles and miles...

When the girls got the boot they were PISSED!! They left and actually had to be chased down, it was actually pretty funny.

yeah.  the first thing I thought when the girls left is, "it'll be fun getting those cameras back".

I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do in the next challenge.  one of the biggest mods I want to do to mine is suspension and steering and you said yours is set up "going around corners".  What did you put in it?  I've been looking at the complete poly kits from PST, and airbags from Ridetech.

when you say the camera  memory sticks were "stripped" do you mean errased or just taken so you could download them later???
cause that would suck!!! not being able to have pics of something so cool you did!!!!!

i didn't get a chance to stop by the shop this week (busy week at work, court!! $$$ cha-ching$$$) hehehe, but when i called they were working on stuff??? hahaha i have no idea what stuff...but at least it's stuff!!! LOL

k maybe you should know that i am from northern central nj and drove in ny all the time...and now i live in san diego and drive to la all the time so yes i know driving is crazy..i'm just saying doing stunt kinda stuff......

So Mr. Angry, Are you going to tell us all about it when the season is over?? I want to know if you finished in the middle as part of your SURVIVAL PLAN?? How many tanks of gas and what all the rules are??  Can you use an aftermarket fuel tank? Maybe even a transfer tank in the trunk to the tank..

Can you gas up after you arrive at the end of each day?

What about a compass? I know you said NO GPS..

What would you do differently??

I didn't even have a clue you guys were going to be this close to where i live.  Until i saw the map of the race to seattle.  Also the time card stop was only maybe 20mins from where i live.  Was kinda cool.

Unfortunately I can only talk about certain things - everything we did had something to with trying to stay ahead of the other contestants. Gas, that was a bitch and at only 8-11 miles per gallon we did have to adapt to compenstate for fuel consumption you'll see how. Again, just can't say to much just yet.

This is awesome,  I bet you are having a hard time containing yourself Mike.  I know I would but I will save my questions for after the series.  It's kind of like telling me the outcome of the movie before I see it.

I might have to ban this thread for me for now, J/K, I can't stay away from it.  Can't wait til next week.  The funny thing is my best friend and all my Harley buddies down at the shop been texting me on how Mr Angry is doing and how was the Bull run show on Spike cause we talk about cars and well... you came up a few weeks ago.

None of them own a Mopar, they are all Chevy freaks, ok ok I own a 55 myself but my heart is with mother mopar.

Nothing wrong with the Chevy Mike,  I own a 67' Camaro that we are trying to get out here so I can get it finished! I love that car!.......But I love our Charger too!.......Kinda like how you dote on the first born a little more than the second!  I know, sounds bad, but you moms out there know it's true! (I know I'm gonna get spanked for this, but, who cares!)
