Central Maine right now. :o
Pic was taken minutes ago.  I know I have nothing on you western ny guys but geez this is brutal.
I plow my neighborhood too, and my plow rig wouldn't start this morning so I had to call for back up for this storm.  But don't fret cause the Dodge Ram finally started and I do in between runs when the other guy doesn't come up.  I kept him on for this storm though cause tomorrow morning might be the same deal with the truck. Expecting another foot overnight, crap I'll be plowing all night long.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

charger490

this was a few min ago at449pm and now the wind is staring to blow. i will send the rest to maine LOL

GTX

I have no picture because it wouldn't show much, just brown grass. We have no snow left here in Salt Lake City and it's been around the mid 50's although today it's cooler. My flower bulbs are beginning to poke up already although it's too early.

I'm sure glad I'm not in the East but we had it damn cold here with a bad inversion all through January.

Hang in there guys, it's gotta melt sometime!

mikepmcs

oh yeah and the wind is howling at 30+ so that doesn't help much(and that's along with the heave flakes coming down).  I just came in and i'll be going out again real shortly, I just can't keep up. :rotz:
Blizzard Warning until 5am tomorrow.

But the Dodge is no longer letting me down.  I'm gonna have to give it some love this summer and fix her back up to snuff.  All I can say is 318....BULLETPROOF!!!!!! :icon_smile_big:

I'm glad I'm not there right now!

Like GTX said, we were friggin' FREEZING here for a long time (something like 24 days below freezing in a row). Now we're finally having mild weather. About the time it got cold & went crazy on the eastern end, it warmed up & the white crap melted in our state. ;D
We're supposed to get a little storm soon, but we're gonna save the majority of it for you guys. :icon_smile_tongue:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Very nice, you Ba@#$rd!! :icon_smile_big:
I do like the California weather though, but sadly could never afford to live there.

I was born in San Francisco and was stationed in San Diego too for my first 3 years in the Navy.

How's the saying go, "The coldest winter I ever spent was the summer I spent in San Francisco"

I'd kill to be there today!!!!

Shakey

It snowed here for 30 hours straight and we ended up with 55 cm of snow, not to mention the drifts.  I took the day off of work to stay home and have some fun with the family.  Shoveling was no fun with the temperature at - 16 degrees C and the wind whipping the snow around.  We did venture outside a few times, but not for very long.

stuck in a hotel in Plattsburg until tomorow night earliest right now with no water because of a water main break. Top it off all the restaurants are closed down to, cant even have a couple brews.

I was going to post a pic. of my yard right now, but I don't want anyone up North to have frozen drool hanging from their lip on my account...   :icon_smile_big:

OK !!!   I'M READY TO GO HOME NOW.  :bawling:    I'M MISSING CALIFORNIA REAL REAL REAL BAD.    :cryin: :drive:  I don't like this blowing white stuff and the high was only 25F today.  It's been this way for weeks.  And the wind chill was like 7 DEGREES.  :errr..ChuckHELP[/color]

Exactly!! I still feel for the New Yorker's though, they got it real bad!!! I just hope that luck doesn't show up here.  Supposed to be done by tomorrow late morning, we'll see.

I would have to say, in the 11 years i've been in Maine, it's never snowed this hard at one time.  Word!!!!  We did have a terrible ice storm in 97' that looked like a war zone, but snow, uh uh!!!

Plowing sucks by the way cause of the wind, and oh yeah the HUGE FLAKES TOO!!!!

God I'm jealous.  Any word from your friend?

No...last I heard she went on 'holiday' to the snow (figure that...us SoCal people actually go to places like that for enjoyment)....I'll try shooting her an e-mail on myspace, since I'm not sure how often she checks the addy I sent it to. Otherwise I might see her this weekend.

BTW - the princess and I are moving into a 2 bedroom apt in a couple of weeks :yesnod:

LOL....you can actually see it above the white building on the far right...its coming from downton L.A./Hollywood through the Cahuenga Pass. The valley's air is clear right now because we had some rain recently...

Got our first taste of "real snow" today here in NYC....I swear people just get stuck on stupid when this stuff hits for the first time of the season :rotz:

Wasnt too much accumulation 3-4" but the 40+ mph winds & the freezing rain really sucks

BMOTOXSTAR

I was out of town for a few days in Pennsylvania & I came home to Ohio and was greeted by a blizzard. Thank god my buddy has a plow truck.  ;D
Then I got stuck in my daily driver(90' Honda Accord LX 323,000 miles), at the end of my driveway, leaving to go out and get some beer.  :flame:
My Mopar buddy came along in his Jeep Cherokee and had to yank my ricer out of the drift. :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

BMOTO,
Just spent another hour shoveling to get my plow unstuck that my helpful buddy buried.  Nice.
Beer is very important in these cases, so you had to go, you had no choice. :METAL: :METAL: :METAL:
