 :drive:

Bought it on E-bay early this year. 4 months later car arrived in Sweden and then off to workshop after an afternoons inspection!

69,000 miles. Car was very straight - look at the floors! Must have had a nice life. Little rust in the middle of the trunk floor.

But

1) custom interior! Now being pulled out. Pulled off the original seats & doon panels (panels actually dated Dec 7 1967! Build date?). Dash upper panel VERY nice, cluster OK, radio fine but black front panel parts around radio/cluster/glove box painted with goldflakes (came off with strong cleaning liquid).

2) Cragar wheels were not as I hoped (wrong size and offset) Now getting 15 ´Magnums with 275/60/15 rear and 235/60/15 front
3) Paint was black metallic - OK BUT...
4) After market sun-roof - was doomed and new vinyl after repair of hole was on the cards - so

Welcome... You forgot the pics :icon_smile_big:

Ooops - pre-mature posting....

Anyways:

Interior - all parts there, original steering wheel and BEAUTIFUL original tinted windows all round

All chrome in very decent condition considering age + all electrical in great shape.

Body straight but litte preparation work necessary as pictures show - car had trim running along its side - in the middle. Have seen that before but I don ´t like it! Opinios?

Drivetrain - 383 (yes - wrong in a R/T I know!) and 727 and 3.23 rear - all seems fine. Powersteer very good feel and brakes fine.

So - with new vinyl necessary, I figured I might as well get the black paint correct - and all rubber seals replaced at the same time - good move? Opinions?

That ´s why car looks like it does now!   Hmm - planned to get a good 3x black R/T driver - and ended up sending car straight to workshop! Am I nuts? Well probably....

Car really deserved a "total makeover" - being so straight and relatively original and unmolested (VIN and code plate still there, no buildsheet yet...)

Will become an awsome 3x black (stripe delete original) in a month or 2!

Then I may do an engine switch - my 1970 Challenger R/T SE has professionally (just) built 440+6 (but should have 383!) and Charger should have 440 (not +6 but still).

Planning to sell Challenger - and figured it may sell OK even with 383 (non-matching) - and that way I end up with an near-ultimate Charger R/T!!

So there you go - short update from Sweden

pictures next!

Hello Martin, sound's like a good Charger and love to see some PIC. When you shrink the file sizes, all make the PIC it self smaller so it does not make the PIC it self to big. I found 7.44 " X 4.55 " work's well. Not sure what that is in Metric.

Like most people here in the state's, I kind of throw all Neitherland Countries into one. So this is a dumb question. Have a friend in Holland that has a 68 Charger, QQ1 Blue, was a 318 Charger and about a year ago dropped in a 440. Chris would be about 22 now and father own's a farm. His name on the old Charger site was Charger Freak.

Nother friend in Belgium named Gert. He has a 69 Charger and is doing the body work on it. He is taking a trade school corse for bodywork.

If the Mopar Botherhood over there is anything like it is over here you may very know them.

Martin, your Charger is welcomed in garage anytime you happen by here ;D

Soory you could not open my PIC that I sent. As far as the drunk part, here on the site we call it Cam 2. PIC where JPG's, is your computer sat up for that kind of PIC file? Or was it because the files where to big?

Awsome looking project.. Cant wait to see it when done :2thumbs:

Im located in Johanneshov/El ´Stokolmo.. spitting distance from Globen Arena.. Yeah, the black 70 is my baby... Sadly it hasn't seen any sunlight this summer, it has gone through an extensive overhaul and things haven't gone as planned, so the possibility is that it wont be ready untill next summer...
