I'm going to be removing my front passenger frame rail.  I've got big rot on 3 out of the four sides in the shock tower and some other rot spots.  The first problem is removing the suspension.  I've started loosening the t bars adjuster bolts.  Am I correct to start with this or should I have started with the gas shocks?  How do I know when I actually have all the tension out of the T Bars?  My plans are to leave the K frame in place when I replace the rail just remove everything from the passenger side.  Sound right?
No, it ain't a Hemi.....thank God!

Sweet T - I'd remove the shocks first as they're going to fight you if you don't.  Once you have the car jacked up and the adjusters backed off all the way, they'll wiggle around. There won't be any tension on the bars at this point.

Just curious.  You mentioned leaving the K member installed while performing this frame rail.  There wouldn't happen to be an engine attached to it would there?

No motor, or anything for that matter.  The car has been going through a slow dismantling since September.  Thanks guys.
