I have to ask.  How much $$$$ did it take to end that auction.  Sorry if you don't want to say, that's cool too.  Beautiful car all the way around.

Not as much $ as you might think. It was more persuasion and charm :icon_smile_big:. It's a long story.

Just spent the last 4 hours replacing the carpet and using Mar Hyde spray dye to dye the carpet on the console. It looks much nicer. :yesnod:

Looks to be QQ1, bright blue Poly.. Ron, is that correct? My avatar has a closeup picture of my LL1 Med. Dark Turquoise Poly hemi Charger R/T's 'Hemi" badge.....

Ron, sounds like you're having a lot of fun getting here all squared away.....

You can also go here direct for the voltage regulator lettering if you find a proper OEM version....

I just got a reply from Dave about the 69 and earlier.. Lettering in yellow and date coding based on car's production date, $20.....

Before I bought my vol. reg. from Almost NOS, I bought one from Herbs that is pretty close but not exact, and it does not have correct lettering and such. I'm almost done with the preliminary work on the interior and I will post some more pics this weekend if possible. If time permits I'm going to do some work on engine. Maybe start work on underside.

Is it resored, or un-restored?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It was miildly restored about 25 years ago and I'm doing another incomplete resto. Much of the car is original.I'm about 80% done with the interior and about 70% done with the engine compartment.
