So I was driving in the beautiful 8 degree weather and salt packed roads yesterday in my Jeep, when out of the corner of my eye I see a flat black (could have just been covered in salt dust) 69 or 70 Charger go cruising by on Oakton, then turning North onto Elmhurst Road in Elk Grove Village/Des Plaines. Needless to say that was probably the last thing I expected to see out in this weather. I only caught a glimpse of it from the rear and a little of the side as it passed by me so I couldn't tell the year. Anybody know of the car?

That's just sick & wrong, they should know better. Whoever is diving it needs to be smacked. :slap:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

My old '70 R/T went to that area of Chicago (when I sold it), and at the time it was Primer Black.   Mine also had Cragar SS/T wheels on it.   I highly doubt that it could have been my old R/T, that was a number of years ago.  In that same respect, I would sincerely hope they wouldn't do something like that with it.   It was 100% rust free...

If its the Charger I'm thinking of, it is a 68, Dark Blue.  I always see it over on Oakton in Elk Grove.  I see it almost daily in the spring, summer, and fall, but haven't seen it in the winter.  I wouldn't think they guy would drive it in this weather though, there are several Chargers I see around there.
