Where would I find some to spray on plastic trim/console to restore texture in areas where crack has been repaired

can you expound on that a little.  Do you mean like trunk splatter paint sorta?  I know any parts store will have some sort of textured paint and the Home Depot, Lowe's also could be a good source too.

i know what you mean, i have the chips for it, any trade paint supplier should have it,if you take the car or part to them they will match it up for you.. when i say trade i mean auto trade, it covers the smoothness you create when youdo a repair to a plastic bumper or trim.. we just call it bumper paint over here, ithink you can get it in rattle cans...jim

Im thinking about trying this but not sure if it'll match or be close enough for the texture on the console

SEM Landau black is about as close as you will get to the raw plastic that it should be.

There was crack on top of console like most of them do, I've fixed that. Afterwards Ive restored texture with SEM texture paint and then finished it with SEM landau black per 1hot68's recommendation. This particular color is closest Ive seen that resembles raw plastic.

Looks good. I didnt even know you could fix cracks in these things. I thought mine was a lost cause. Please look at the pics below and let me know if you think my can be fixed and redone. The only crack is on the top of the part that is towards the backseat.

I had the same crack in my console, i reinforced it from the underside with fiberglass. it stronger than factory. I managed to get the crack to close tight enough that you cannot see it with a couple of heavy coats of SEM dye. Hope this helps.

jdiesel33 yes your console can be fixed. This is exactly how mine looked before I started. If you have any questions you can pm me.
