I like the stance of Chris G's car that Brock posted in the beginning of the thread. Looks like it would handle good to.

I REALLY worked hard for this stance...  I used new HEMI leaf springs, and dropped the front torsion bars down, and had it re-aligned.  It cought the fenders a little so my bodyman shaved a sliver out of the wheel wells to allow tires to turn.

when I first saw 8wheelers car many years ago I thought, what a goof ball, he lowered his charger! and every time Ive seen it since it just looks RIGHT, not over board and better then stock, I hope if ever I get my car done, don't tell him, but I might just copy that stance :icon_smile_shy:..........................................

What kind of wheels are those? I love em'!

Car stance:

I find you can use one single formula on virtually any old musclecar:

--  Get the center of the rear wheel to sit horizontally even with the bottom of the rocker panels.

--  Get the center of the front wheel just a couple inches higher (into the wheelwell) than the rear wheel.

Car stance is the most important thing to get RIGHT......

Whatever you do.....DO NOT use an impact on the torsion adjustment bolts....if there is any dirt or rust on 'em, you'll gall the threads....

This pic is from last year....I have since lowered the front and rear a few inches......has @ 3* rake....

That car is Hot!!!!!

I lowered my front at least 4 rounds and I love it.  Alignment, who needs alignment. LOL.  I can align it with a tape measure and a piece of string if I drive it enough to see the wear.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
