Things are getting strange over at the 70 registry...must be cabin fever setting in over the winter  :icon_smile_big:

Seems some of the members don't approve of the wheel/tire choice of another members beautifully restored car. The car in question is a very sweet black 70 r/t with a pistolgrip and 440 6-pack. It was also the Car of the month over there and very deserving of the honour.

The instigator(s)   decided to take it upon himself to show what the car should look like....much to the dismay and horror of the owner !  :o

Here's the gory details:

Well, we all know that the best defense is a good offence.....so a carefully crafted re-buttal was cooked up and submitted.

The comeback:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I saw this this morning but couldn't get on the 70 site to see it(Navy computer filter), so I raced home just to get to this thread.  Ok, I have no life but it was worth it.

That was awesome and some nice computer work to boot!!!
Thanks for the laugh.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I don't think Mike has fully recovered. I wish he would of fought back more. I think I hurt his feelings. Perhaps it was a little too harsh. I get carried away some times. I'm a idiot at heart.
