I've been working on it for the last couple days, her first bedroom was done with an Ocean theme, She wants Cinderella now, so here it is so far ...

I still need to do the Mice, I have bluejays flying overhead and stuff as well, but I worked on that Castle for about a full day..... still not quite done yet. My son Logans room is done with a racetrack and a much of Hotwheels glued to it, Also a 69 Charger on a lift, I'll have to post that up as well...

So what do your kids rooms look like guys? Or am I the only one who's wife suckered into a 1 week paint job?

I will tell you one thing. I watch quite a few of those HGTV and DIY home shows and some of the artists they hire to do murals could stand to take a few lessons from you.

Are you gonna do your garage next?
Here's pics of some member's garage wall here. I always forget who's it is, but I couldn't resist swiping them when he posted them on the old site.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That is a pretty neat mural Khyron - well done.

My Wife painted my Daughter's room.  I had no say in the matter, which is fine.

Here is a photo from when we moved her into that room, about a year ago.

My son is asking to have a 500 and a Daytona on his wall. I'm thinking of doing it, but I'm a horible artist. So I'm thinking of going with an overhead projector, and using a pencil to outline the projection and then paint it. Anyone tried this?

That should work. A guy I know is using that technique to build a "mini" Daytona go cart. He puts heavy construction paper on the wall and uses the projector to cast the image to the proper size. He then transfers it on to metal sheets from the construction paper to form the panels.
