The posts are buried way too quick over there.  I can never find anything, even if im only gone for a day, its buried so deep its usually not even worth digging for it.  I bought something from one member over there.  I never got the parts, had to file a paypal claim to get my money back.   :rotz:

I think overall the people there are pretty cool, but the mods seem to be trying way too hard to make a show their authoritae. I've seen otherwise entertaining or informative threads deleted/locked because someone used the word 'damn'. As an example, a while ago there was a thread about cool guitar videos...i posted a link to youtube where a japanese guy plays the Super Mario Theme with two guitars...cool stuff right? Well, the whole thread got deleted because if you went to the link, and happened to scroll way down the page, someone left a comment with the f-word on it.

I'm not trying to sound like a kiss-ass, but I have to say that the mods here are very good at exercising common sense and at least giving a warning first when things are getting out of hand instead of summarily wacking threads or posts. And they're known to have a sense of humor too every now and then too.

For what it's worth, that Ponch guy at moparts is an asshat.

We are a family here.. Moparts is a great site. Very many of our members are also members over there. I've never had a problem with anything there..   I'm glad we're not galaxy size yet. I don't have that good of a memory.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

I used to post questions in the A12 Resto forum but they mostly got kicked out over to the general section prior to them making the regular resto forum.  The mods claimed that my questions were not specific for A12 cars even though the A12 cars share A LOT of parts that our chargers do.  Questions such as front suspension correct colors and such got bounced over to the General topic section and lost within 5 mins.  Shortly after that started happening is when I refused to post on there and about the time that Troy started thsi site back up.  (Thanks again Troy :2thumbs:)  And yes, I love this site better.  Granted, now that Moparts has a specific Resto forum, I am there somewhat again but not as much as I used to.

Every board has it's advantages and disadvantages. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on Moparts with tons of experience than can answer questions very quickly. The down side is posts can get lost very quickly due to the large number of posts.

I like coming here to learn about Chargers and to compare and contrast them to Coronets. Lots of similarities but lots of differences. It's 'quieter' here and the personalities aren't quite as overpowering as they can be on Moparts.

Sometimes, I go to the Coronet Board and some nights, I'll pop in on Scat Pack  ;).

It's like having 3-4 favorite bars. You can visit the one that suits your mood. Sometimes you see the same familiar faces just in a different setting plus you get to meet new people too.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

moparts is alright, but its no dodgecharger.com. its like going to walmart or shopping at the little mom and pops store you have shopped at all your life, they have all the same stuff its just a lot more comfortable and friendly here.

You have to take everything with a bit of skepticism!!  For Racing and go fast Moparts can not be beat.  The Questions and Answers really moves fast but it's easy to find your questions, just click on your user name and search view all posts.   As for the General board, yea the mods rule with Iron fist kung fu :icon_smile_blackeye:!!

And yes that Ponch guy leave alot to be considered! :yesnod:

There's alot of great guys on moparts. Have cruised with Tom the owner several times, very cool guy and really knows his mopars. Problem I have is too many know-it-alls in the general board.

We have clique's here  ??? Are they divided by location/region or maybe by generation. You know, 3rd Gens. are the best, then there's the rest. :D :D :D

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Looks like he's attaching a new one each time, not on the sig line.
Don't worry, Troy will be along shortly to b!@ch slap him for wasting bandwidth. :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

i rarely post there anymore, mostly because they look at third gens as red headed step children :flame:and the fact that most of the guys ive talked to there are smart asses, who happen to be inthe clique, not good natured clean mouthed posters such as my self

You're right, I haven't noticed you posting the same pic multiple times, so you're safe there. :icon_smile_big:
I don't have a problem with it really, I just meant to be humorous earlier ;) If there truely is a problem, someone with more horsepower than I will let you know about it. Until then, carry on. ;D

BTW, some of those pics are pretty funny.

Good,
I did not want to get kicked off. I really do not like Moturd, I mean Moparts.com :Twocents:
It is hard to navigate & post pics. The price's on Moparts are always high, like E-Bay. I have been ripped off on Moparts and never on DC.com
The web master for DC.com does a great job. The way the pages are set up, the forums, etc. :yesnod:
The members here are fast with respones and fair with parts pricing. I am not out to flip cars & sell my parts to some guy that is going to sell them on E-Bay or collect them just to sell all at the Mopar swap meets. From my own personal experience most of the sellers on  Moparts are out to make the most $ and not really help a fellow Mopar/Charger owner out.  :flame:
I really hope I get to meet a few DC.com members this Summer at some of the Mopar shows. I wish I could say the same about some of the members on Moparts. :blahblah:
Not to be ignorant, I am sure that most of you here may as well be a member on Moparts, so am I. I check DC.Com everyday and go to Moparts about once a month.
Further more DC.com has more emotioncons and a site that has a Heavy Metal emotioncon  kicks ass any day of the week!BMOTOXSTAR#079

Moparts has it's cliques just like this site does.   You're either in or out.

Thank you Brian....thank you!

Maybe I'm just naive but if we have actual cliques here, they don't seem all that rigid to me.  I definitely think that some here have established more personal relationships for whatever reason but not in the way I generally think of a clique.  I more often view those as a closed circle.
Whatever, I spend more time here than at Moparts.
