Here's the CNN info:

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/02/08/anna.nicole.collapses/index.html

(CNN) -- Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being taken to a Florida hospital, a law enforcement source told CNN.

Smith, 39, collapsed at a south Florida hotel, according to news reports.

"I can confirm that she is deceased. It's as shocking to me as to you guys," Smith's attorney, Ronald Rale, told Reuters. "I don't know anything further. [Her lawyer and husband] Howard [K. Stern], obviously, is speechless and grieving."

TMZ.com had reported that Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2 p.m. ET.

According to reports, Smith was found unresponsive in her hotel room.

Smith was involved in a paternity suit regarding the parentage of her daughter, Danielynn, as well as other disputes, including some regarding a house she stayed at in the Bahamas around the time she gave birth.

Earlier this week, Smith was included in a class-action lawsuit against a company, TrimSpa, for which she had worked as a spokesperson. TrimSpa makes a product it claims leads to substantial weight loss. The lawsuit alleges the marketing of the product, TrimSpa X32, was false or misleading.

Smith's son, Daniel Wayne Smith, died at age 20 just days after the birth of Smith's daughter. Pathologist Cyril Wecht said a lethal dose of methadone and antidepressants caused cardiac dysrhythmia, leading to his death.

I thought she was good looking too, in her earlier Playboy years. She got a lot less desireable when she hooked up with the old tycoon, though.

It's sad, she was a pretty messed up female in her later years. Hopefully her daughter stands a better chance at growing up more normal now.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

What's a shame is that she never could get her life straightened out. She really could have had a decent career and a decent life, but she ALWAYS sounded like she was on something.

Most likely OD'd, I can't say "GOOD" that she is dead, wouldn't wish that on anybody. A tragedy really, with all the controversy and things going on in her life from that article, sounds like she may have committed suicide. (PURELY speculation though)

We will see how it works out but according to the news the wedding was not a "legal" marriage but more a expression of love and commitment. As such Howard is not entitled to anything. Being a lawyer I doubt he would have missed that part if he planned it.  :shruggy:

Regardless what everyone thought of her it still is sad whenever someone passes so young.

Yeah, let me rephrase my initial reaction. I thought that she was crass, loud and all the things I said and then some but I also felt sort of sorry for her. She was the butt of many jokes and a caricature of herself. I thought that people really only invited her to public places because she was so volatile and may say or do anything and she fell into that. They took advantage of her and she let them so she could be famous.
She was a pretty woman when she kept her mouth shut and it's terribly sad that not only did she die but she died leaving another child ( didn't she?) and so young. Still, it really was as inevitable as a runaway freight train and all the dirty laundry will be aired and re-aired long from now.

I am glad though that she is out of the public eye or will be so I no longer have to hear about her. Now if only Paris Hilton could find a way to disappear. Every time I see Paris Hilton on tv it's like one of those Head On (apply it directly to your forehead)  commercials.

I hope her life and death will be a lesson to people everywhere who never seem to be able to learn to tone it down and stop creating drama for themselves and everyone around them. After being bombarded with Nicole BS for so long it will be a relief once this current drama subsides, but then we'll just be subjected to the antics of the next drama queen/diva/loud-mouthed so and so. Kinda ironic the parallels between her and Marilyn Monroe, beyond just the looks. Both led reckless lives, lived through more than their share of tragedy, and went way too young due to their reckless natures. Can't help but feel sorry for her infant daughter.

http://www.tmz.com/2007/02/09/anna-nicole-narcotics-found-in-room/

Suspicion that drugs killed Anna Nicole Smith was heightened today as investigators found illegal narcotics as well as prescription medications in Anna Nicole Smith's room at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla., according to reports this morning.

WCBS-TV in New York reports that drugs were found in Smith's hotel room, and a toxicology report that would determine whether those drugs caused her death has not yet been released. An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.

Did Anna Nicole Choke on Her Own Vomit?

According to another report this morning, when an "employee" of Anna Nicole Smith found her in her hotel room, she appeared to have choked on her own vomit. The "credible source" cited by Access Hollywood says that when the employee encountered Smith in her room, she pulled back a sheet and discovered that the model-actress had choked. The same source, says Access, claims that Smith took a "children's sedative" and that she "kept passing out" before her death.

Smith's Final Moments Sell for $500,000

The footage of Anna Nicole Smith's last moments sold for more than $500,000, just hours after Smith's death in Hollywood, Fla., according to Splash News & Picture Agency, as reported by FOX News. The two-minute video, according to sources, shows paramedics working on the unresponsive actress, and her body being wheeled out on a gurney. The paramedics, according to a producer who viewed it, appear to pull the gurney back out of the ambulance to administer CPR again. But, adds the producer, the body is not readily identifiable as Anna Nicole Smith.

Battle Over $1.6 Billion Fortune Brewing

Now that both contestants in the battle of J. Howard Marshall's $1.6 billion fortune have died, the future of the suit is in some question. The Los Angeles Times reports that the suit is likely to continue in the name of Smith's infant daughter, Dannielynn Hope, even though the paternity is the subject of additional legal action. The Marshall family lawyer still contends that Smith "is entitled to nothing," and Smith's lawyer in the case says that it's hard to know what will happen next. "Things were sort of up in the air before this," he said. The case went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which then sent it back to Federal court.

OK, seriously, you know NASA has a little voodoo altar set somewhere in Houston.

What a cluster*&% this is going to turn into.

I don't understand why some of you hate her so much! She wasn't evil, she never l=killed anyone. Sure she made some bad decisions, but she didn't deserve that! It is a very sad deal. It was starting to look up for her until her son died, anyone who loses a child would have some serious issues! I do feel bad for her, that she never fixed her life, that she had to lose a child, and that she had so many problems throughout her life! As for everyone who said that they were glad she died, or that they just feel bad for the family, that is messed up. Very few people deserve that :rotz:

so apparently the latest rumour is that she offed herself because if there was a paternity test, it would reveal that the father was....her son. ::)

I wouldn't wish death upon that woman or anything, but I find it rediculous that the media is acting like anyone should care.

ANS was a 2-dimensional carboard-cutout of a celebrity who made Britney Spears look classy.  She had no obvious redeeming qualities other than fame itself.  No achievements that were particularly respectable (or even particularly hate-able).  She might as well have been a sitcom character  on a show that got cancelled.  No better, no worse.

WORD!
But still a tragic human loss none-the-less.  It's always sad when someone passes that young, cause it makes me feel like i'm not far behind.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I don't understand why some of you hate her so much! She wasn't evil, she never l=killed anyone.   :yesnod:  This is true. I never hated her, I just hated to see or hear about her. Does that make sense?  Yes she was just a little trashy,  :scratchchin:  OK allllllot trashy and if it wasn't for trashy women my youth years would've been boreing.  :METAL:  I feel for her parents and the kid.  We all know her lifestyle was reckless and I think that played a part in her death. She made some bad decisions,  ::)  Her whole life was bad decisions :yesnod: one after another but that doesn't mean I wished her dead.  I really do feel bad for her familly.  What a mess that's got to be.  Chuck............

and it gets even more messy....

Photographs of Anna Nicole Smith in bed embracing the Bahamian immigration minister who approved her application for permanent residency here revived a political scandal in the islands Monday.

Its sad, but I think she was just a waste of space, golddigger. ;D
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

After seeing this video clip from when she was 8 months pregnant, I think that little girl is probably much better off with her mother dead.

:haha:

In all seriousness, ANS was one of the first chicks I rubbed one out to....

Did u ever rub one out to ashley force?... ::)

I don't know which is worse; the Anna Nicole Smith saga (her body is decomposing faster than they imagined it would), or Brittany who shaved her brain away a couple of days ago with clippers.  Both stories are a very tragic and sad state of affairs for America to cover as a "break away" from the daily body counts of the Long War.

All thanks to your liberal mainstream media, that is driving all this crap.

What we really need to do is STOP covering the self absorbed and the whole world revolves around us world of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Micha Barton, Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and the like.  If the camera bulbs simply stopped flashing for them, and their parents stick their 9 1/2 wides up their arses (I would), they might- jusssst might get a f*ckin clue and wisen up for a change!  I mean REALLY.  That is what drives them- the constant attention.  If we would only stop giving it to them, then we wouldn't be seeing the freak shows every night at dinner time.

I don't want my daughter to grow up thinking what they do is acceptable, BECAUSE IT IS CERTAINLY NOT!

When I was a young tween- I had the biggest crush on Brooke Shields. We are both the same age and I'm pretty certain SHE was the first I rubbed one out over all those years ago.  She was clean and had a great mother to protect her and run her career.  Now look at how Brooke Shields has turned out- pretty damned high standard I'd say.  These girls of today can't hold a candle to a woman the likes of what Brooke Shields was like when she was their age.

Just my  :Twocents: whathehell do I know about fame, fortune and paparrazi anyway?

No need.

Nothin' out of hand here.

She reaped what she sowed in the end.

Another name to add to the list of people who lived fast, and died young.

A sad, strange end to what was essentially a made for T.V. movie life.
