CHASWINGMAN2

My shop is located right next door to a brand new Television production company and it looks like I'll be involved.  I've done picture cars before but this times it's over the top.

Don't get too excited though, the charger they are going to use is my 93 Ram Charger, Canyon Sport edition.  It is like new, inside and out.  The character that will own it is an Army Major that is fairley anal.  While he's away at war his son is tasked with keeping it washed every week (yeah, I get free car washes and cash).  I'm hoping to get my 68 scripted in as well.

Yesterday we had 2 Deuce 1/2 trucks dropped off for the show.  We had to replace brake lines, service them blah blah blah.  Tomorrow the Hummers arrive, that should be fun.  My title is "Picture Car Provider" which really means squat, but it should be fun.

The series is called "Army Wives" and the pilot episiode was filmed here in Charleston last fall.  Lifetime picked up a season and we start shooting on the 20th of this month.  Google it and there is some info posted.

So far there will be 3 Mopars on the show,  My Ram Charger, A friends 86 D150 (excellent condition also) and a Caravan (still counts as a Mopar).   I'm working on em hard to add some old Charger muscle to the episodes, if nothing else as background cars.

The setting is contemporary, or current times (I just learned that word last week, still working on the spelling).

I've seen the Pilot episode and it's actually very good.  Being a former Marine and current State guardsman, I was a little critical to the details, and they did a good job.

Anybody out there have any experience with the M35A2 trucks?

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

;DThat is awesome!! How did they hear of you? since Lifetime is a woman's network, see if they can fit in a character that is a woman gearhead/ equipment tech that adores her Charger. ???
