Does anyone have pic's of any 73'-74' Satellites? I was going to buy one and I wanted to make sure that the emblems and what not were correct on the car.
It is a 318, bench seat car. Has had one re-paint and is very solid. Needs a dash pad and front seat re-done. The guy wants $2,800.It also comes with a RR hood.
    Thank you Mopar buddies.

for a rust free car $2800 is a good deal :yesnod:

Even if it is a re-paint and has a ripped front seat? I have to drive 8 hrs to pick the car up. I have always wanted a Satellite, believe it or not.
I think it will be worth the drive. It has no rust but it does have a spot of primer on the lower quarter. The guy scrtaced the paint and did not want the car to rust.
I was going to save for another Charger, I have a 73' Rally.
This came up and I think I should grab it.

Just so you know that rubber bumper to body seal that goes on top of the back bumper is impossible to find and its not reproduced as of yet.  I've been searching on and off for one for my Dads 73 RR.  But if you find one buy two and i'll be happy to compensate you for it :yesnod:

I sold my '73 for $2800 in the same shape, but in primer, Roadrunner hood, Rallye dash, slapstick console shifter. :icon_smile_big:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Well, that piece is missing on the Satellite! I know how hard it was to find filer trim for my 73 Charger. There is also a big spot on the MPH Gauge Cluster Plastic from a clock that was stuck to it from 2-way tape years ago.To me it is like another part I will have to buy for this car.
The guy wants $2800 and I have to drive 20 hrs round trip to get it. I am trying to see if he will work on the price with me since that rear piece is missing and that the gauges are messed.
I really want a Satellite but not a project. Maybe I should jump on this for the $, I am having a tough time with my decision.

my 74 roadrunner is a satellite originally, it was totally rust free and looked like that but brown and gold.  make it a roadrunner, satellite 318 bench is worhtless who cares, RR's look better too!   def put the hood on it

just my two cents...

Broc,
I just want to make sure that it is worth the 17 hr round trip, $250 in gas. I guess I can't argue about a $2800 Mopar that is clean. It looks to be a nice driver if I left it alone. Big decision. I just think that maybe for the price, I had better snatch it up.
Thank you for the opinion. I guess I would be happy with another Mopar in my yard.
I was going to get the car in a week, we have a Mopar Winter Swap Meet in Ohio next week and maybe something better will be there. Then again maybe this is a real nice deal? When to buy or not to buy ?:yesnod:
Here are some more pic's. The interior is not all that great.
