Thanks to Hemigeno, the 69 Charger Registry web site now has scans of an original 1969 Dodge Color & Upholstery manual.  This is the book that you would leaf through when ordering your new 1969 Dodge.  Gene actually shipped me the book & trusted me with it for about a month over the holidays.....I wanted to wait to ship it back till after the holidays "just in case" ;)
For the registry site, I only scanned the Charger items.   These pages include charts pertaining to "accepted" color combos and actual samples of seat & vinyl top materials.  Also chip "pages" of all the original factory colors.

Check them out on the registry site.   Click the pics on the Interiors page of the site....

That's pretty cool stuff!   :yesnod:

Those books can be worth a whole lotta money.

I was visiting one of my customers up in Goderich, ON and stopped by this place:

They had some of those books, some from the '50's, '60's and '70's.  I recall the Cadillac book from the '50's was priced at $1200.00 CDN.

That is the one book I have yet to locate for my own collection. I have 2 copies of the Data Book, but none of the color and upholstery book. I've not been ready to plop down the money to get one yet either.

Wll that makes me think my car is more rare than before, according to the charts Green ext. with black int. should not be avail w/tan top!  Although ASC put the top on (not Chrysler) and it was thought to be original by GG.

Thanks Paul & everyone else

Chris, I have not forgotten about you with the 1969 Charger dealer promotional stuff.  I also have the 1969 Dealer Data book with a lot of Charger info in it if you want, I can try and scan it.  The dealer promotional stuff is too large to scan and I am still trying to find a place such as Staples to scan it and put it onto a disc for me.

Chris,

The site page looks great!!!  I'm glad you were able to use the book, since that kind of information is a great addition to the Registry.  The more historical information in there, the better.  Awesome!

BTW, I did get the 1969 Dodge TSB book this week.  I went through it a little bit yesterday, but I haven't had the time yet to compare it to Barry Washington's online collection to see if I am missing any.  I think they should be all there, but it'll be a little while before I can check that out.  It does have the announcements for V2 and Bahama Yellow, which were pretty late in the year (I didn't realize that they came out in May of 1969!).  Hopefully they are all there.  There is some good Charger-related stuff in the TSB's, but also a lot of A & C body stuff too.  Say da word and I'll send that to you for the site info as well.
