First thing I would do is check the actual water temp. Dana, my C500, did that once...... It was reading high all the time after warm up.. So, I told a cooking thermometer with a scale up to about 500 degrees and verified my actual temperature versus my temp gauge reading via the radiator opening..... It showed my coolant was ok, but the reading false at the gauge...... I tried another sending unit from a local auto parts store and it did the same thing...... I eventually bought one from MaMopar and voila, fixed........ I don't think the calibration of the aftermarket units are any good......
