Some of the members of this board are doing nothing but hurting a young person who is trying to get into the Mopar hobby. That, in itself, is sad.  :rotz:
There is a LEARNING stage with this hobby, I'm sure you ALL have gone thru it. Making fun of someone whether it be their looks, lack of knowledge, or just their posts in general is more immature than the 16-year old novice. Why? You should KNOW better. Any members here grow up in the '80's?? Take a good look at his picture, then dig up some old ones of yourself when you were 16. I bet they look similar. We were all young, inexperienced punks at one time. And, we asked stupid questions & made stupid comments.

I WILL, however, agree that too many posts with NOTHING to say is a bad thing. If you have something that will benefit this board or help out another member in some way, by all means post it. Don't just post to watch that little number get bigger. That is meaningless. There are some members with big numbers that don't always have a lot to say. Then again, I've met some geniuses here, too.

Nice post.

nope. I set the camera on a part of the garage door. I had to do the Dukes thing to get onto the door fast enough.

tire tires are as soft as they were 20+ years ago, they were stored in a dry basement covered. no dry rot or anything.

The kid reminds me of myself 20 years ago when I had my first 70 Charger. I bondo'd on my own 6 pak hood scoop & bought some Cragars SS wheels. I say lay off the Kid, He's cool. LEON. ;)

Dont worry, that problem only gets worse the older you get. ;D

Hey kid, get to work on that car and have faith!  I bought this junker for $500 when I was 16...27 years ago.  It went through several transitions since then.  That was a lot of lawn mowing and hay hauling at the time!  I've touched it up (did the work myself) a bit since then and still have a ways to go...and I've just started at Daytona clone race car project.  Wonder how long this one will take me?  Good luck.

I like the back wheels and tires. I want them.

  Ya, me too.

Those pics look like they are from 1975, what gives?

Broc?  uh , ya, sometimes you are funny, but harsh, heh.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

very nice charger.  I have to say, a 2nd gen charger with magnums is probably the best looking car in "stock" form from. something about it....

:icon_smile_cool: Let me know if there is something in specific you want a shot of.  I have more pictures on the other computer and can take more...but they're amateur pictures taken by me, and I don't want to bore everyone with pictures of my car.  Also, this car is FAR from concourse correct...so any photos have to be taken for what they are!  Let me know.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Color- I didn't have a paint code when I went to repaint with B3 blue.  I took the deck lid to the Dupont jobber, who used a computer gadget to match the paint from underneath the jacking instruction label.  It's Dupont Chroma-base basecoat clearcoat.  Not my favorite color, but correct for this car.  Thanks

Bronze, Let me start off by saying you're EXTREMELY LUCKY! I didn't get my Charger till I was 18 and it is a heap! From the looks of those pics your car is in A LOT better shape than mine. I've only got 7 years on you but I've learned alot in the past 21 years. Put as much effort into that car as you possibly can. Life takes over real quick. I got my Charger with the intention of having it done in 2 years. Three years later I've still only got a rusted out shell of a car, a garage full of loose parts and more bills than I want to think about. Those bills keep stacking up and they're slowly burying my dreams of ever having a finished car. Keep workin on it and don't ever give up on your dreams!

trust me on this one, you will not be boring anyone with pics of your car.  In fact the opposite is true.  On this site, If you post up without pics, you will get some flak.  helps that this forum template puts the pics in the text, unlike moparts, moparchat where you have to click the attachment.  It also does not hurt that your charger is very nice.  Even if it was in primer with rust, the pics would still be cool....that's another thing about this site, while you may get critiqued on your choice of wheels/mods, nobody's gonna tell you your car is a POS...even if it's a clapped out project.

Thank you for saying that,  a lot of site people own beautiful, restored or original chargers, but many of us do not.      A major point of this site is helping many people fix up their cars, which implies that their cars are not perfect to begin with.   After a while on the site, you will see, especially if you read the mopar garage sections, that your car is a great starting point and not bad at all, fine the way it is.    Don't worry when you see a show worthy perfect car, can't compare yours to that, that may be your goal, but don't worry about your car when you see one fixed up more,  I know this is the hardest thing for me, I get overwhelmed that my car needs so much work, that I can't make it real nice.   But 99.999 % of the time, people here are supportive and helpful and want us to succeed, and to keep the car and fix it up, or even get the car running so its a driver, no matter what it looks like, to have fun.  Driving around a charger like you have (B body with tough wheels), in any condition, is still cool.  It is a Charger, this is a great Charger site,  that's all that matters.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
