terrible one

I'm not even going to get started on how big of an immature dick you are. That's a member's car, and he is far more respected than you. Look at the car. It's very nice. Just because it isn't done up like you would like doesn't mean jack shit. Why? Because it's not yours! I can't stand people knocking other's cars, especially when it is nice work, just because it doesn't appeal to them.

Somebody took a perfectly good 68 Charger and added a wing. To make it worse, they made the wing blue. And to put the icing on the cake, they installed neon blue lights to light-up the interior and engine. :icon_smile_dead:

Not to mention the ugly orange and purple hood paintjob.

I beleive that is Arigmasters car...

I Agree ! Foot in mouth disease.  I might agree with your comment IF the car was one of those 2X6 for a wing cars, but a lot of work went into that car and athough you may not like the concept, it looks to be very well done.  Take this as a lesson learned.  We were all young and dumb once.   Bob

I like the paint and wing it actually flows with the body lnes and has good contrast . And he didnt put blue neon in the car its a blue filter on the camera lense or photo program.

i like that car...not a huge fan of neon lights in a car but when they are done well they aren't bad

Later
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

take it easy guys he's young! if im to be honest i dont like whats done to that charger but yes he's made it unique and its his. The weird thing is i was going to post a pic of a 72 charger (not a member of this forum) the new owner put 22 inch wheels on it and i thought it was abit much well im glad i didnt start that... ;D

Well, now that it is known to be on ebay, I think you had every right to state how you feel about the car. I don't search for '68 Chargers, so I didn't know that was what you were originally posting. Being a members car is one thing, but a member trying to sell a car is a different story. Good job Cody.

personally, i think people are getting abit too mad at this whole thing. If members felt my charger was ugly it wouldnt bother me remember as they say opinions are like assholes everyone has one. cody just voiced his opinion out loud. how many of you have been at a show and said "man that's a ugly car" without a second thought that the owner could be listening? i mentioned earlier that i WAS going to post a pic of a 72 charger with 22 inch wheels just for laughs (not a forum member's car) but after seeing the reaction from this i dont think its a good idea (trust me on this one guy's it looks terrible!)
The other thing that does concern me somewhat is the reaction's from us so called "adults" and/or senior members remember, its the young guy's who will keep our love for chargers going long after we can no longer be involved do we really want to scare the young guys off mopars? remember that young guy claiming to have a 72 6 pack charger? man, did he get the book thrown at him! and yes, im guilty too  ;D as for posting alot of topics maybe he's jus passionate about charger's! who really cares i just think its not worth geting all mad over IMO maybe some guys wont like what i have said and that's fine with me!

Here's a thought....If the car had been a piece of crap and those comments were thrown out nobody would have given it a second thought. But the car in question is obviously quality work. To just slam on it without giving thought to your words first is the point. This can be a valuable lesson for T5....Slow down, think your words through, and then if you are convinced of the merits of them....so be it. But don't just type and hit post without thinking about it first....we have probably all been guilty of this at one time or another....I know I have!

:iagree:  I've seen the car first-hand and can attest to that.  Not an ounce of bondo anywhere on it, hood included.  Definitely unique, but great work.

I agree, but that doesn't mean a young Charger enthusiast couldn't benefit from getting some sense smacked into him once in a while.  It's happened before and we're all better for it.

Dude, quit asking.  You can't beg for forgiveness any more than you can beg for respect, as you've also tried.  As someone else suggested, try laying off the post button a bit and you'll quit catching so much flack.  But as far as that goes, lessons need to be learned I guess....

Arigmaster

WOW Guys!

Thanks for looki'n out!!   :2thumbs:

I put the car up on E-bay only because I have my eye on a car I found on a job site in Iowa. (Definitely a unicorn, or to some the holy grail) It isn't for sale publicly, but I really believe I have an opportunity to get it at a price I can afford. I wish I carried a camera with me....

I saw the post from Bronze but just decided to take the high road and yes, he is entitled to his opinion just like everyone else here. I already knew that the car wouldn't appeal to everyone and it is apparent by the auction response. (I like it though)

There is no neon lights on the car either. It was a result of crappy photography. I have the car in storage at one of my warehouses and I couldn't pull it out into the sun for better pictures because it's blocked in by two boats and a old fire truck. So, I did what I could with the flash settings.

Bronze did send me a PM with an apology and you guys pretty much had your way with him too so maybe he may have learned something from all this... (No real need for apology but it is accepted) I also want to thank you guys for the compliments on the work. We all know how much goes into these cars and you have to be obsessed to do one from start to finish. (Damn, I'm a sick one)

Thanks again to all of you for looki'n out for me and everyone else here!

wow,  talk about immuture.   this post should have died after the second post.  seems like everbody has something to say about 69bronzet5 and wont stop until they say it. i have been comming here for awhile now and almost weekly some (adult) members has a ebay link saying how terrible this charger is or how much money that fool is trying to get. look, we all are gulty of doing it and since most of you get along nobody will dis the poster, infact most would join it and bash it .   i personly do not care for that car but i do appreciate the time and money put into it.  i built my car to my tastes not for yours.  if i build it a little different than normal i would expect some off the wall coments and get over it.      good luck bronzet5, for it is you who will be keeping this site and hobby going in the future not these (adults)

Dang Arigmaster, that car looks sweet! But those pics aren't doing it much justice. better pics would be worth thousands. imo

I know... My Daughter dropped my digital camera so I had to use the ones I had saved... I borrowed one just to add the interior pics. As for the find, my lips are sealed and only one other person knows.... (sort of)
