Where do you live?

Remember the old site that had a map of markers where our members lived?  We should have something like that here.  I have seen similar maps on other forums.  I'm not sure if it's a lot of work or not to set something like that up.  I could help manage it as long as it didn't require a lot of technical computer thingy skills.  A lot of you have indicated in your profile what state/province you live in and that is nice but not all have updated your profiles to include that info.  I'm curious as to where all our members live (I'm NOT looking for a street address, just a city, state/province).  When I go on road trip, iit would be nice to meet some of you in person.

What are your thoughts?

I think it has been discussed before but theres so many members a map would have too many markers on it and wouldnt be able to load.  A search by state might work...

Pretty much describes you in a nutshell. You contradict, fabricate and play dumb all the time. You never "spoke your mind", you simply tried to ruffle feathers, much like you do on this site. Troy has a much higher tolerance for allowing stupidity than I do  . You got tossed from the '70 site by me, and I'm sure sooner or later you will be saying goodbye to this place as well.

ps- STOP PM'ing me with your ridiculous one liners.

I landed at RAF Lakenheath one time and we had 24 hours on the ground.  Went to the terminal and got a ride from a Scottish truckdriver to a rental place and rented a Fiat Cinc(tiny car).  I put 6 Navy guys in that car and we drove to London for the day/night.   What a blast, I was doing about 120km give or take and driving like an idiot to get there.  I believe it was 76km from Lakenheath.  Anyways, it was a great time and the Hippodrome is the bomb!!!!  We ended up in some flophouse cause we couldn't find anywhere to stay but a cabbie hooked us up.  We were walking through people passed out on the floor to get to our room which was the size of a can of beer.  I remember waking up with my leg hanging halfway out the window.  Good times, good times!!!!

well mike i lived nr lakenheath in the 90,s(thetford] i used to drink with the gi,s from mildenhall, i also spent time in london its ok there but if you want real hospitality newcastle is the place to be,its like it was in the 50s here..but we were a big coal mining community at one time,im going to save and visit the USA one day and have a look at some of your chargers in not so sure about the wife mind but ile bring my son..jim

Well if you come in to Bangor Maine international, I'll come get you.  It's where I work but is a very popular stop for overseas travel.  Matter of fact if there is an issue on the plane, that is where it is diverted too coming in to the U.S.

But I imagine you would want to go to the midwest or the west coast as that's where a lot of chargers/mopars are it seems.  But I'd be happy to have some brewskis with you some day.  Sadly I don't think I'll ever travel to the UK again due to retiring from the military very, very shortly.   But at least I've seen just about every country in my 20 years and I'm happy about that.

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
