How many generations of the Charger were produced?  Can anyone post pics of each year of the Charger starting with the first.  I am not sure about all of you but after the 74 Charger I cannot remember what is out there and would be curious to know how the Charger "devovled" into what is currently on the showroom floor.

Ghoste

I don't have pics to throw up for you but for North American production, you have the 1st generation from 1966-1967, the 2nd from 68-70, the 3rd from 71-74, the 4th from 75-78, the 5th from 83-87, and now the 6th beginning in 06.

Cool..thanks guys.  I kind of like that 4th gen...maybe for a daily driver although I have not seen one of those on the road

Many Charger fans felt the same about the fourth gens back then as many of us do about the new model.  "not a bad looking car, just not a Charger"
1969 Dodge Charger 500 440/727
1970 Challenger convertible 340/727

I agree but for for a daily driver now that would be a nice ride. I would prefer to drive one of those in nice conition than many of the newer cars today  :yesnod:
