How do I get my tail light lense out? and my grill inserts out to get to my head lights. I'm just trying to learn without breaking anything. It is a 74 SE. Thanks

On my 71 & 72 Chargers the tail lights are held into the housing with screws. If they haven't been removed for a while they might be "stuck" and need some prodding to get off. On my 72 one of the tail lights must have had a leak and instead of a new gasket they used silicone to "fix" it. That took a lot of patience to get off in one piece.

Yep its just that easy.  Remove all the screws, and your grilles and taillight lenses will come right off, just work it a little if its stuck and it will come.

i tried and i just don't want to break anything. I know that there are 8 screws in the tail lights, but even some prying didn't seem to help much.

oftenly the become hard to remove, specially when they have been there for looooong time

Maybe try spraying a little WD-40 to penetrate the gasket to loosen it up :shruggy:
I know on my 72 I spent the better part of an hour wiggling one side then the other until one side loosened up.

Those lenses use a rubber gasket between the lens and the lens body.
Someone had removed the gasket on mine and filled it in with silicone.
I thought I would never get it apart.
