Hey guys whats a nice set of plug wires you guys like? I'm ready to try to start up my 383 and don't know what to buy.

MSD is a great wire.

If you are on a budget and I think you are from previous posts, just slap some accel from a local parts store on there to get her going.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I have a set of Accel race wires on my '68. I was going for an as stock looking appearance as possible, however the engine is modified. Looks stock from the outside.
They are 8mm wires, black with yellow lettering just like originals. Most people don't even notice they're on there.

I went with 8mm Taylor's from Summit, they cost about $45 or something.  You can even get them in yellow, if you want...

I ended up getting some from autozone, duralasts, black with an orange spark plug boot like the originals. I hope these are alright, they have a lifetime warranty and I know that doesn't always mean their good. Today after school I get to try and start 'er up!

They should be ok for a starter wire, but with a lifetime warranty, your fine  :icon_smile_approve:

Right now, I'm using MSD.  You pay too much for the name but they are a good wire.  I've used Accel too in the past and they didn't cause me any grief.  I went for the MSD last time because of the boot mostly.
