Decent lookin charger ill say :yesnod:, i read this nascar book from my library that he was in an accident and he was never the same and he came home one night and told his mom that he was gonna strangle her and tried 2 kill her but his nephew knocked him out and after that he was sent to a institutuion and died there some years later and i think it was his relative cale spent amountless mounds money on him and to this day wont say how much, any1 know this story????-MATT

Nice pic Matt.  I hadn't heard that story before either.  I will add that if you're thinking the relative was Cale the stock car racer, I don't think they were related.  One spells it Yarborough and the other Yarbrough.  Could be a different Cale in the book you saw or maybe they just had different ways of spelling the family name.  Anyone know for sure?

No they were not related but were good friends and Semi Teammates in  68 and 69.

Lee Roy's was a tragic story.  A very talented driver who never really got to shine or live up to his potential.
