Everybody say "Howdy". ;D  She is a 67 Barracuda Notchback.  273, auto on the column, bench car, gold with white interior.  She is all original, except for the rims/tires.  Minimal rust.  She also likes to burn rubber in corners. :D:

4k.  A little high, but, then again, I don't have to pay for shipping.  And I didn't have to travel to see it, either.

Nope.  She's my daily driver.  And, the biggest engine that will ever go in her is a 360.  I'd rather find a 340, though, and make a Formula S clone.  Of course, that's about 5 years in the future, after college....

Ghost, glad you got her. $4,000.00 does not seem that high for a running and more than likely Number Matching car.

Glad to see you have something worth owning. I would not mind having one.

A buddy of mine sold a numbers matching survivor 67 dart with a 273 2bbl for $2500 last year.   Not a spec of rust on it  and the interior was like brand new.  My wife wouldn't let me buy it...

Nice car  Ghost!
So what are you going to do to her? :icon_smile_question:

The original plan was to drive her for a few years, then take her off the road, and turn her into a 340 Formula S clone.  Instead, I think that when I take her off the road, I'll turn her into a 273 Commando Formula S clone.  Don't see to many 273 cars out there. ;D

I'm thinking triple black...  did they make vinyl tops for these cars?  A black car with a black vinyl top would look KILLER, I think.

Big Lebowski

My first project in '83 was a '68 fastback cuda with a 440. The headers rubbed on the left tire when you made a left turn. That car could cook the tires all the way down the street. We got it running around 2am with open headers. I dont know why, but someone called the cops on us. :icon_smile_evil:

Todd Wilson, sham, sham, shame. Didn't your mother ever tell you if you didnt have something nieces to post dont post anything at all ;D

It is a good looking body style Ghost, so don't worry about Todd.

After I did a 67 Barracuda in 2003 I became a fan of them and like the notch back better than fast back. It was the Red and White one I posted PIC of when you first started talking about getting your's.

I will do a little digging but I seem to remember something about the 273 HP's. Seem's there was either a deal installed option or a factory option where the 273's could be bought with header's, solid cam and edelbrock intake.

If you have way close to me and ready for what little bodywork your's need let me know. Be happy to help you out.

Bah.  If I gave a flying rats ass what other people thought, I'd be a Chevy or a Ford guy, since that's what most of my friends are.  The 2nd gen Barracudas are my 2nd favorite Mopars.  I'll probably primer it after winter is over, when I can afford to spend a little extra $$$.
