phenolic spacer

I have a edelbrock 600cfm carb. model 1406.  Can someone tell me which size phenolic spacer to buy?  Don't want to get the wrong bore size.

Will one with 1.75 bores work if my carb has two bores 1.75 and two 1.50?

Basically two styles. 4 hole and open. Most are sized for a large 4 bbl square base carb. I use a 4 hole spacer  between may Edelbrock carb and performer rpm intake.

Either style will work. If you have a dualplane intake the four hole is rumored to provide better throttle responce and bottom end power.

Most have holes slightly larger than the bottom of the throttle bores.

If I remember correctly (and as flyinlow suggested), the four-holed spacer will give you more low-end advantage, whereas the open spacer brings out the top-end/ high rpms.

I guess what I'm getting at might be stupid,  my intake is stock on a 383, spread bore 4 holes.  My carbs bores are 2 that are 1.75 and 2 smaller 1.50.  If I get a spacer with all 4 holes 1.75 will it work?  thanks JZ

I bought a phenolic spacer and it doesn't fit my intake.  My edelbrock has 8 holes for the intake studs,  4 inside 4 outside.  The spacer I got will fit the carbs 4 outside holes but my intake uses the inside holes.  Any help?

I'd say whip out the drill and drill some more holes in the spacer. Ought to be good to go in a couple of minutes time.

maybe yours is for fit a holley on a carter manifold or vise versa, or dominator on no dominator manifold??? them make them for that also

don't know if this will help ! just put my thunder 800cfm avs  back on & the  weiand stealth intake ,   i  use this  phenolic spacer   EDE 9266 ..2 hole ,
comes with longer studs also .
